Sugarbear is a 9 yo Korean Jindo mix that i rescued from neglectful owners when he was 4mo. He joined Sampson, his litter mate, who i had gotten at 6 wks old. They have never been separated. My dogs are my life. We live at a lumber mill in Moclips, Wa, where they were born. His bloodline has lived on this property for over 50 yrs, but he and his brother are the last of them. In 2023, a lump developed under Sugarbear's right front leg (armpit)., The lump has since grown very large, and is greatly affecting his mobility. It has not stopped growing. He needs immediate lab work and surgery to get the lump removed. The hospital i found that is willing do it is Animal Surgical & Dental Clinic, located in Maple Valley< Wa. The estimate is $1600.00.. Sugarbear is super intelligent. He has,without training, searched and rescued numerous people lost in the woods., by just being told to" Go find " the persons. He and his brother,Sampson, both have saved lives with their abilities. Sugarbear loves his people and is very loyal and, he has years left if he can get the surgery soon.. He deserves any chance possible. my heart breaks for him.. I live in an rv trailer without electricity, i work job to job doing whatever work i can.. I was a mill worker until 5yrs ago, when the mill went out of business.. 3 yrs ago, my 15 yr relationship ended. Sugarbear is my beautiful best friend. He means more to me than life.
