Skylar
Skylar is a 8 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier in Masury, OH, who needs $680 for Ovariohysterectomy.
Masury, OH
We rescued Skylar 7 years ago from a home where she was very poorly treated. She was just a little puppy who had no life other than being tied to a chain on someone’s front porch 24/7. Since then she has become our spoiled little baby. She loves to get dressed up in her cute outfits, spa days, naps, homemade treats, and spending time with her sister Raven. They love to play and take naps together. We are looking to raise money to get Skylar the surgery she needs for a life-threatening infection called a Pyometra. The necessary surgery would be to get her spayed at Animal Wellness & Healing Center. Unfortunately she was never spayed as a puppy considering her then owners didn’t take good care of her. We were unaware of the complications of not having her spayed when we took her in. Skylar’s best friend is her sister Raven, but she loves to play around with all her dog friends. She has regular play dates with them. She also loves to play with squeaky toys and tennis balls. She’s super afraid of thunderstorms and is quick to jump in our bed and snuggle with us under the covers until it’s over. She’s such a silly girl and likes to play hide and seek, then jump out and scare us. We’re young dog parents. I’m a college student and we only have part-time jobs. This was an unexpected complication we didn’t know about. Our dogs mean the world to us. They’re our everything. They travel with us wherever we go, and Skylar has much more traveling to do & see

Lucky
Lucky is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Hubbard, OH, who needs $2,000 for ACL Repair Surgery and Rehabilitation.
Hubbard, OH
I rescued Lucky from AWL animal shelter. We came together in 2017 he was six months old when we became a family. I name him Lucky because we were both Lucky to cross paths. He has been an amazing companion. Lucky has a torn ACL. The veterinarian said he needs surgery and he would be a good candidate for the repair surgery. It breaks my heart that he is hurt. He wants so much to run and play in the yard. The surgery is financially hard. I have been trying everything I can to do to help him get his surgery. But it's really hard. Lucky has a brother named Donatello he is a cat. They are inseparable Donatello is confused because Him and Lucky can't play. But he stays by Lucky's side. It's hard to come up with the funds to help Lucky get better. I want him to be able to run and play with his buddy. He wants so much to use his leg. I feel like I let him down because I can't financially get the surgery.

Roxy
Roxy is a 8 year old German Shepherd Dog in Farrell, PA, who needs $2,000 for Bladder Stone Removal.
Farrell, PA
Roxy joined our family later in her life. My caregiver at the time noticed how much my special needs son needs a support dog and since her children were grown she became ours. She has been having problems with leaking urine. We thought it was a uti and had that treated. But then the urine turned to blood. She was in a lot of pain. Had xrays and blood work done and we find out that her bladder is full of large rocks. Surgery is May 10th 2024. Our vet is Animal Wellness and Healing Center. Roxy is my special needs son Kaydens shadow. Where ever he is she is too. She waits on porch for him to come home from school and is just as excited as the day they met. The cuddle wherever they sit. So much of an encouragement and a real bond between these two. She never barks. Just pure love. It's so fun to watch them play together and get in the water during the summer. She is just pure joy. We are on a fixed income now me being on disability. What we have had is gone from the first 3 visits and so this surgery is not what we can afford without your help. Without it she will die. Her bladder could burst. She has lost over 20lbs. We can't bear to be without her.
