Coco
Coco is a 13-year-old Dachshunds in Winston Salem, NC, who needs $2,000 for Testing and Treatment.
Winston Salem, NC
Coco came into my family's life in 2011 as a 10 week old puppy along with his brother Brownie. Now in their golden years they have become my constant companions and my unconditional love. Coco has been my protection in times of need. He is now in a state that he needs veterinarian care and I need help with the funds. I just want to do some testing before I make the hard decision that we dread Coco is the big brother for sure, he always takes the toys and wants the treats first. He loves his brothers Brownie and Phinny. He tolerates his cat siblings and even shares a bath with them on occasion. Coco is the protector of the herd, he enjoys his toys to the max and will play for hours. Christmas has always been a special time as Coco loves to unwrap Christmas presents. A few weeks back I noticed that Coco started to lose interest in eating. He would hesitate when his bowl was put down and would eat super slow. As time went on he ate less and less until he just stopped. I wasn't worried until he couldn't hold down water and began to vomit water within 30 seconds of consumption. I took him to the vet and we treated symptoms. He needs more help with no improvement I do not currently have the funds to pay for any further care. I moved in November, had surgery on my knee in December and was out of work without pay for two weeks. Went back to work and had anothet medical crisis that put me out for more then a week with no pay.

Loki
Loki is a 2-year-old Long Haired Tuxedo Cat in Winston Salem, NC, who needs $1,169 for Feline Urethral Obstruction.
Winston Salem, NC
After losing my fur baby of 7 years, the hole left in my heart was massive. I was so sad. I immediately began looking for another kitty. I ran across a local cat rescue and found this beautiful black and white tuxedo kitty with a round chunky face and beautiful yellow green eyes. I had to know more about him so I inquired about his availability. With 2 weeks, my son came to live with us. Loki loves attention from anyone. He makes you pet him, loving to "sneak" up on you and jump in your lap. He purrs constantly but it's not loud, so he soothes me as much as I comfort him. He loves to lie on bathroom mat whether I'm using the bathroom or showering, just wanting to be close to me. I have three daughters and he has claimed them as his sisters and loves his little brother status! Loki chases his yarn ball, rolls in catnip and loves to stomp socks with his back feet. He catches silk scarves when we throw them towards him and realized he loves bubbles last month. Though he was named after Thor's villain brother, he's the opposite of villain; just a snuggle buddy, so warm and soft. His nickname is "Sugar Bear" and he loves when I call him that, giving me his forehead to kiss. I noticed blood in my baby's urine today after feeling like something was off about his demeanor. When you know a loved one you easily spot inconsistencies in the way they carry themselves. Loki visited the vet today and they discovered that he has a UTI. Or a urethra blockage.. I'm so glad that I'm in tune with my handsome boy and was able to see his discomfort. Unfortunately I was involved in a car accident this past summer and total loss my vehicle. All extra funds I had were used in purchasing another vehicle since the insurance company could not determine fault for the advisement. I love him and I just want him well again.
