Duke
Duke is a 10 year old Golden Retriever in Pomona, CA, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.
Pomona, CA
Duke lives with my husband and I. Duke is a pure breed Golden Retriever. He came into mine and my boy's lives 9 years ago from a friend who was a Golden Retriever breeder whom I had wanted from for a long time but couldn't afford it till one of her buyers couldn't keep theirs. I gladly said yes and brought him home to my boys and later to my now husband. He is part of a fur family of 3 dogs 6 cats Duke developed a mass that started smaller than a golf ball went away then came back into a large mass. It was confirmed cancerous and had his front right leg amputated December 2024. Less than a year later he has another mass, golf ball size, on his amputation scar that is so far benign but needs to be removed as a precaution. It bleeds heavily from the pressure of his movement. Duke is such a good family dog and brother to the other dogs and all the cats. Duke is definitely not a security drug because he loves everyone, especially kids. His biggest attention getter is food, balls and squeaky toys. One less leg doesn't stop him. We are a 1 income family. I still have a minor in his senior year and plays baseball year round that I split the costs with his father as well as medical expenses for both my boy's and financially support my college son on top of rent and regular bills. We are stretched.

Winston
Winston is a 7-year-old Great Dane in Claremont, CA, who needs $2,000 for Removal of Cancerous Tumors.
Claremont, CA
Mr. Winston came into our lives in November of 2021. Available through an incredible rescue named Hank’s Legacy, we scheduled a meet and greet with his foster family, and within a week of that visit, he came to our home. We just fell in love with him. From his bright blue eyes to his adorable silliness, we knew he was perfect for us. We love him dearly, and so does his doggy brother, Lennon. Winston is a character! He just must have his bed made for him & when his blanket is fresh from the dryer on a chilly night, he is most happy. He gives the cutest head tilts & the best big dog leans. He prances on his walks & can run like a greyhound along side of us. He loves everyone & is very sweet with little ones & my very petite mother in law! Winston is like Olaf. He loves warm hugs 💗 💗 Winston is incredibly chill. Thunder & loud noises don’t bother him at all, & has been known to look up into the sky during July 4 to check out the fireworks. He often sleeps with his head falling off his bed & can curl into the smallest ball! He behaves like a loyal steed, standing next to my side, on alert. He loves the sunshine & follows the warmth & light around the family room and backyard. Winston has squamous cell carcinoma, that creates tumors on and in his belly. Dr. Nichole Weinstein of Arrow Dog & Cat Hospital, feels the main tumor is operable & the little ones on the outside can be frozen off using cryotherapy. This will allow him to have more years with us, and to continue to enjoy his life, pain free & un encumbered by what would eventually become a fatal situation. With the cost of living increasing & incomes not keeping with the inflation, taking on this surgery would take from our baseline. The mortgage, increasing utilities & trying to help 2 kids with their education shouldn’t take away from the care of our family loved member.

Mimi
Mimi is 6-year-old domestic longhair cat in Montclair, CA, who needs $1,374 for emergency treatment for her kidney disease.
CA
Mimi is a six year old female cat who lives with her human family Alexandria, Adrian, and their infant son Arlo. She is in desperate need of veterinary care because she is going through life threatening kidney problems and without immediate veterinary attention she will die. Her humans had been living between friends and family since last year when they lost their tiny house and truck in a freeway accident. The family is now living on the road in an RV. Because they are still struggling financially and getting back on their feet from losing their home last year, the family does not have enough money available to cover the cost of Mimi's emergency care. They are doing everything they can to pull funds together to help.
