Luna was given to us by a friend of the family in July of 2018. She immediately bonded with our oldest daughter and to this day will follow her everywhere she goes. She has recently not been following her as much and we will find her just sitting around not moving much. She has lost a lot of weight and we noticed she seems to be bothered by her mouth. We got her examined at the vet and they noticed gingivitis and recommended several things including a dental cleaning. We were only able to pay for the exam and an antibiotic to help with pain. Luna is very special to our family especially our daughter. Having her back to her usual self and following around her favorite person again would mean the world to us. After losing my job early this year things like veterinary visits have become impossible. Any help would be appreciated to get our loving playful kitty back and healthy!
Minnie
Minnie is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Gordonsville, VA, who needs $500 for Diabetes Medicine and Blood Glucose Checks.

Here's our sweet Minnie! We adopted her seven years ago from a shelter. She was found in a gas station parking lot. Minnie's original name that was given to her by the shelter was Sweetie. And they were right! Minnie loves everyone and purrs are her love language. Even at the vets office, they've shared how even when they are examining her, she's purring. Minnie's got a lot of purring left to do. Minnie was diagnosed with diabetes. She did not handle the insulin well. And has lost weight from her chronic condition. She's on a newer medication now and it's been a blessing by helping her blood glucose levels do down from over 400 to 200's just in a week of being on the oral medication. She's still struggling with gaining her weight back. She's being seen at Autumn Trails Veterinary Center. Minnie loves laying in her favorite spot, her bowl. Well, it was originally a center piece and now it's where you'll find her on most days. She also loves curling up on your lap and snuggling all the while purring to let you know she's happy and loves being close to you. And when she's not cuddling or in her bowl, she's an avid bird watcher and sometimes squirrels, too. Minnie completes our family As a family, like most people we're on fixed income. And with her pre existing condition she's not eligible for pet insurance. We just need some help to afford the new medication and help financially to manage our sweet Minnies chronic condition.
