We have had zeke for around 1 month now. We got him from a lady that raises ducks. We chose him because we felt like with his personality he would be a good fit for our other duck. They are both inside ducks. He’s breathing hard and can’t stand on his own. He won’t drink nor eat. We have called vets we just don’t have money right now to be able to get him check out. Zeke is a cuddle bug. He loves to give duck hugs. We have zeke and another duck named sunflower and he came into this house and loved on her. She wasn’t eating nor growing until he came along and now she’s twice the size of him Me and my husband just got our own place and bills are just on top of each other right now. I just started my new job with better pay so I really don’t have money coming in and he won’t have money coming in till the end of each month.

Kramer was going to be killed by his breeder owner because of an unexplained limp. He's safe and with me now, but we need a vet visit and x-rays to ensure there is nothing out of socket or broken! Avian and Exotics has been my vet care for all my chickens. Dr Dan Johnson and Dr Sokolik have amazing chicken knowledge. Whenever I have a new rescue that needs x-rays or ultrasounds they come see them! Kramer just has a right hock issue, it's very stiff and causes him to not put weight on it, and limp. Kramer is named after the Seinfeld character, his hair just kills me!! He's extremely sweet and made friends with everyone right away, no posturing! He'd never been held before, and instantly took to getting mommy snuggles, especially at nap time! I've been unemployed for over 3 years due to medical reasons. Roosters kind of fell into my lap and it's been my journey to help others understand one of the most mistreated and misunderstood living creatures! I run a group of over 15k members seeking help and support.
