Molly
Molly is a 10-year-old Chihuahua in Gatesville, TX, who needs $1,351 for urgent surgery.
Gatesville, TX
When Brandi B. saw a social media post about elderly dogs who needed to be saved from a hoarding situation, she instantly came to their rescue. "Molly and Bobo needed a safe, clean place to live their final days," Brandi tells Waggle. "They have made themselves right at home. Here they have fresh water and food, warm beds, and lots of snuggles." Soon after Brandi brought the pair home, she noticed Molly's belly was covered in mammary tumors, and her teeth were deplorable. Molly needs urgent surgery to remove the tumors and infected teeth, but Brandi can't afford it. She hopes you can help her ensure her good deed does not go unpunished. "We have space and love to give them," Brandi says. "We will do all we can to make sure they're as comfortable as possible, but the surgery costs are out of our reach right now." Please give so Molly can have a new start in 2023!

Alaska
Alaska is a 1-year-old Pit Bull in Gatesville, TX, who needs $700 for Emergency Csection.
Gatesville, TX
Alaska has been with us since she was 5 weeks old. She has became a part of the family she goes everywhere with me and loves to be in the car or outside having fresh air. She is good with other animals. Her and our house cat (Kurtis) loves to keep each other on edge. She loved her running outside with the kids. Alaska has always spoiled she sleeps in the bed. We got her her own bed when she was 8 weeks and she only last 3 hours on her bed before she was up in our bed and she’s wrapped up in the blanket with me. She likes to sleep touching someone and to be under blankets. She does not like cold or sleeping outside. She is a gorgeous blue pit bull white with black tick marks. When she hears a weird sound/noise she tilts her at it with a puzzled look. If the noise continues she will continue to tilt her head to different sides till it stops or she figures out what noise it was. She won’t go far from me she has became a protector. Alaska went into labor Saturday at 1 am. We had thought we would have puppies that morning but there were complications and by Monday she still hadn’t had any puppy’s. We called the vets she ended up needing an emergency csection due to a puppy being breach. She had 7 puppies but the vet was only able to save 3. She has already came around but without her csection we would’ve lost all the puppies and momma. We are very thankful for the vet for saving the ones they could. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Tres
Tres is a six-week-old Domestic Shorthair kitten in Gatesville, TX, who needs $463 for critical surgery.
Gatesville, TX
As a paramedic, Josh B. is used to crises, handling emergencies, and rushing to the rescue--- but what happened earlier this month even shocked him! "I was driving with my two daughters, and we heard a noise," Josh tells Waggle. "We turned the radio down, and we kept hearing the noise. I had my daughters turn their phones down. Then we heard meowing." Josh pulled the car over, jumped out, and opened the hood. He was stunned to find a kitten with a terribly injured tail and leg in the engine compartment. "I was worried because he wasn't moving. Then I saw him move a little bit and he fell out of the car, then took off running! Knowing he was injured, I could not leave him like that. So we found him in the bushes. We got him!" The family then took a detour to Bar N Veterinary Clinic and got the kitten immediate help. "The vet said his leg is badly broken, and his tail won't heal. He needs them both amputated," Josh says. Josh and his daughters fell in love with this kitten who came into their lives so unexpectedly. They plan on adopting him and making him a member of their family, but they didn't budget for a surprise surgery bill. "Since I'm a paramedic, my daughters expect me to be able to fix things, but we're having trouble coming up with the money," he says. As Josh contemplated what to do, he says the animal hospital suggested he create a fundraising campaign on Waggle to help pay for the kitten's surgery. Now Josh is hoping Waggle's generous donors will help Tres get the assistance he needs so he can live happily ever as an indoor cat, that way he won't end up under the hood of a car ever again. "You have to have compassion for life, even if it is a stray kitten," he says. "Thank you for giving him a chance. This little guy has a true will to survive."

Flora
Flora is a 3-year-old Pit Bull Terrier in Gatesville, TX, who needs $545 for treatment for heartworm disease.
Gatesville, TX • Gatesville Animal Shelter
Flora was relinquished to the shelter in September after her owner's didn't have any use for her anymore, she was used a breeder dog. Meaning she was bred back to back with no rest between litters in order to make the most money for the people that owned her. She has been spayed, because of her previous history of being bred so much with little to no time in between litters, we were afraid that she might get mastitis in one or more of her teats or a pyometra while awaiting her new home at the shelter so a generous person with a special interest in Flora paid for her Spay surgery and Heartworm test. This is when we found out about her Heartworm disease.
Luna
Luna is a 2-year-old Boxer in Gatesville, TX, who needs $461 for heartworm injection treatment.
Gatesville, TX
Luna was rescued by our local animal control officer’s when they received a call to check on a dog that was tied up at the back of a house. She was on such a short tie-out that she couldn’t move around very much and didn’t have any food or water. She was very emaciated and lethargic, but her tail nub never stopped wagging. The ACO and technicians decided to keep her at Bar N Veterinary Clinic so we could slow feed her back to a normal weight and keep a close eye on her progress. I was out of town when Luna came into the kennel so when I came back to work, our eyes locked and I fell immediately in love, especially after I heard what a terrible situation she came from. Her personality never faulted, she continued to give love and nubbin wags to let me know how much she appreciated being in a place with so much love, attention and food. I knew only after a few minutes of spending time with Luna that she would be coming home with me and my son, Bowdi. We would now and always be her furrever humans and home.
King
King is a 4-year-old American Pitbull Terrier in Gatesville, TX, who needs $594 for heartworm treatments.
Gatesville, TX • Gatesville Animal Shelter
King was picked up as a stray by the Gatesville Animal Control officer's in the middle of August. He was microchipped but the Owner didn't want him so they relinquished him to the city to find him a new loving home. Bar N works with the shelter and he had an ear infection and was coughing as well as some skin issues so they brought him in for an exam and that's when we found him to be Heartworm positive.
