We rescued Lucky off the street 13 years ago and we named him Lucky because we thought he was lucky to have found us but really we were lucky to have been followed home by him. He is such a sweety and a calm and gentle soul. He's been with us through 3 moves a dog sister, now gone, a cat brother and a cancer battle with our human mom, and we'd miss him too much when he's gone. He's been healthy for the most part and we've never really had to worry about his health but he's elderly now and has been wheezing, drinking way too much water, and peeing far too frequently, and with muscle loss, my concern is he has something serious, but something we can hopefully treat, I'd love to take him to get a full check up at the vet but it just cost so much. Lucky is such a sweetheart, super quiet but will stay close by when you need a friend. He always liked watching, and catching birds, he'd spend hours at the window or watching nature shows on TV, and when our mom was diagnosed with cancer he'd sleep at her side or at her feet like telling her she wasn't alone, he's kind to everyone and he does the nips at your ankle when he wants attention or food I really don't make much and between bills and my part time hours, a sudden vet expense just doesn't have a spot in my finances. Barely paying rent as it is.
