Roro is a 10-month-old Chihuahua Mix in Hugo, MN, who needs $600 for Exam and Vaccinations.

Roro was born in a farm in Missouri. She was brought to Minnesota when she was about 8 weeks old. Roro came with her 4 siblings. As of lately, Roro has been experiencing a lot of gut issues which has led her into having accidents in her cage. Roro is crated most of the time. She's a sweet girl, very loyal and loving. She loves attention and will jump on you for belly rubs. She is truly the sweetest girl ever. Roro is special because she is such a loyal dog. Without being trained, she understands when to go in her crate and when to eat. Roro is very athletic, she jumps very high too. Unfortunately, Roro has never been to the vet due to financial reasons. There is a place nearby that I would like her to go get an exam and her shots. Birch Lake Animal Hospital. I am on an fixed income at this time with no help from family members. Roro is a loving and deserving dog. To have her back healthy and athletic is all I can ask for.

Hi, my name is Sarah, and my dog’s name is Pierre, and he is 16 years old. He is a senior citizen (in humans terms!). I rescued Pierre six years ago from the humane society when he was 10, and named “Big MAC” (Because of hid stocky body). When I saw him at the humane society it was love at first sight! At least for me it was anyways. When I looked at him, I just knew that I wanted to rescue him! When he saw me, all he saw was the treat in my hand. Lol. He didn't know it yet, but I had immediately decided to take him home to an unsuspecting husband ( I never told him that I was going to rescue a dog!) Pierre is more than “just a dog” to me! He ranks almost as high up as my husband!! Ha ha. He is EVERYTHING to me!!! He’s like a third child to me! Our first son was diagnosed with a fatal genetic disorder called Trisomy 18 - fatal birth defects and I was induced at five months gestation of our beloved son, Alex. We had another son after that who also had a genetic disorder, but thankfully he is doing well!!! Pierre has been through so many events with me- through deaths, jobs, depression, anxiety, managing my own mental illnesses (yes there are more than one) some debilitating and others more manageable. Through my physical ailments such as Ménière’s disease, medication-resistant fibromyalgia, chronic pain, chronic insomnia, just to name a few!! Pierre is like my own Source of natural healing. Because of my illnesses and disorders, I take an average of 30 pills per day (not kidding), but ever since I rescued Pierre, I don’t need my anxiety meds as often Anymore!! I've been healed through my chihuahua!!! I also love Pierre because he is not like a normal chi- he isn’t an ankle biter, he barely if ever barks- I absolutely LOV E that about him!! (With Ménière’s disease, I can’t handle loud noises, so when other Dogs bark, he stays nice and quiet:). It’s almost as if God hand picked Pierre for me. God knows what we need, and HE KNEW that I NEEDED Pierre!! Thank you God!

Izzy was the runt and not responding when born but much effort was put into getting her to breathe, she was a survivor. She was born with a liver condition and has to daily take 2 medications. I am a cancer survivor and so is she, we are sole mates. Izzy has her own front car seat and goes everywhere with me. She likes to be swaddled in her binky and curl up on my lap to nap and can do a little dance to get a treat.
