This little kitty came into my life after I fled a 17 year long abusive relationship. In the last few years within that relationship, I lost my cats who dear to me. Her name is Fushi, because I hope they live on in her. Still a baby, Fushi had eaten a shoelace. I didn’t know until she started vomiting. She vomited up 9 inches of shoelace. We brought her to the emergency vet. There, she has a check up and got medication to help her throat. However, we brought her home to monitor her condition, because we couldn’t afford imaging. She is coughing and sneezing and has only been eating small amounts. She is a super sweetheart! She loves cuddles, sitting on your lap or even atop your shoulder when she isn’t climbing her cat tree or romping around after a toy. She gets “lost” sometimes, by this I mean she sometimes cries from a nearby room until I come in to ask her “what’s up”. Always, she is fine, just sitting there and excited to see me. She loves Churu and squeeze treats. I had a lot of mental health issues that formed during my previous relationship that have made it very difficult to function normally and it has affected my income. Additionally, I have ADHD, which is an added struggle with panic attacks and flashbacks.

Im doing this campaign for my sister’s dog, her dog, Tico, means the world for my sister. She got Tico when she lived in Switzerland, then she moved to Brazil to take care of my mom that had cancer, and after that she came to US to live closer to me. And everywhere she goes she brings Tico with her, she loves him so much. Tico is a very smart dog, my sister tells him to drink water he goes to drink the water, he has a favorite dog that is a stuffed animal, a chipmunk, it is so old but that is the only one he likes, my sister throws the chipmunk and Tico grabs it. He also dances, kind jumping around, he is the sweetest dog that I know. My sister got Tico because her doctor told her to be her company, she has depression, and the doctor recommended her to get a pet. Tico is everything for her, she doesn’t have kids, so she says Tico is her son. And she treats him that way, she take him for a walk, for a ride in the car, gets him a special food because the other ones doesn’t do good for him. Tico was suffering of upset stomach for a long time, and my sister keep bringing him to the vet, until he said to see a specialist, he got a ultrasound done, and he has a small mass in his stomach. So he will need a surgery, now the vet is giving him medicine for him to feel better. It helps him with the gases and discomfort. My sister works but she lives by herself and doesn’t make much money, so far she has been able to bring to the vet and get medicine. But the surgery is the only way to get him cured, and it cost almost $6,000
