I have raised Sunny since he was a kitten I have bottle fed him and everything. He came into my life on a cold winter day when I found him outside alone his mother cats deceased next to him. We have been best friends ever since. I have recently hit a rough patch financially and now I need help paying for life saving surgery for my best friend. Sunny has a rectal prolapse. I discovered it late last night and where I live we don’t have a 24 hour vet. He will be treated at Blue Pearl pet hospital in Augusta GA. Sunny loves to sleep above my head every night and wake me up every morning at about seven AM with cuddles and kisses and kneads until I wake up and give him good morning Pete and kisses and then he goes over to his window and watched the sun and naps in the sunlight for a couple hours before starting his day. I recently ran into financial difficulties. Due to rising cost of everyday life and the fact I’m the sole caregiver of my sister and grandpa. I went through all my savings recently due to a house repair emergency. I’m hoping to raise enough to pay for the surgery for Sunny.

Nala was my mothers support dof when my mom began to have sudden seizures. Nala supported her until her death in 2024. I took Nala with me and we been supporting each others since our mothers death. We live in Ga finally have a back yard for her to play in. Nala is great with kids and compationate to others when needed. Nala is the sweetest most loving animal andeans so much to me. Im looking to get help with the surgery she needs Nala has pyrometra amd needs her bladder out. A similar problem than can be fix just to expensive for me to afford and I cant loose her to something that can be fixed. Nala is great with all age kids. My baby cousin can pull poke and prod her and ahe will just enjoy the attention. She loves to be rub and to cuddle anywhere. Nala is a very compassionate animal who really comfort anyone who comes in contact with her Im on a part time income and I just spent my savings just getting her checked. i just recently dropped down from my fulltime due to my own lupus condition. With my condition working Im physically limited and I needed to take a break on so many hours and then she gets sick.
Rex

Rex is a 5 year old German Shepherd who was an owners surrender through the sheriffs office. He didn’t receive the vetting he needed nor did he get proper nutrition or care. He is currently being fostered thru the Humane Society of McCormick County in South Carolina. Rex needs a tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) this involves making a circular cut around the top of the tibia in both Rex’s back legs and rotating it to approximately 90 degrees essentially replacing the cranial cruciate ligament which is one of the most important stabilizers inside a canines knee joint. This is the middle joint in the back leg. Essentially, Rex’s knees have to be rebuilt. Without this surgery overtime Rex’s condition will only get worse, as of right now his body has been going on without it for so long without proper care that his tissues have done there best to form where the ligaments and cartilage were. Rex has a very hard time living his day to day life can’t jump, struggles to walk some days, and takes anti inflammatory and pain meds to regulate him for now. Despite all the challenges Rex has overcome he hasn’t let it slow him down. He pushes through it all and does his best to just be a normal and good boy.
Lizzie
Lizzie is a 15 year old Mix-Breed in Grovetown, GA, who needs $2,000 for Kidney, Gallbladder, and Adrenal Mass Removal.

Lizzie joined our family in the summer of 2009 as a puppy. We got her from a local rescue, who found her wandering the streets. When we got her, her name was Gizmo, but we didnt feel that fit her. Her nickname was Gizzie, so we settled on Lizzie. She has been with us for the past 15 years. She is one of 8 dogs that we currently have, as we do senior and disabled rescue independently. Blue Pearl - Augusta found a mass on Lizzie's right kidney, a small, benign mass on her adrenal gland, and gallbladder mucocele. Surgery was completed to remove the kidney, the adrenal mass, and the gallbladder. After the surgery, there were complications. Her abdomen became distended with bile resulting in hospitalization, surgery to stop the leak, a drain tube for the bile, and a feeding tube. Lizzie has always been playful and energetic. You would never know she is 15 years old. Lizzie was by my wife's side through her IVF journey, multiple miscarriages, and eventual birth of our daughter. She absolutely loves our 14 month old daughter and our daughter loves her just as much. Last month, we lost one of our dogs to a severe kidney infection. She was hospitalized for over 2 weeks at CVETS in Columbia, South Carolina. Due to this $15K bill, we exhausted our emergency fund and have not had time to replenish.
Pepper

Pepper came to me after vet discovered a fatal birth defect in Prince, her brother. She had been returned so I knew it was never be. She’s so friendly and happy that she bounces. I take her everywhere I can. She’s the best errand girl ever. Pepper started with diarrhea and lethargy. Took her to vet and she was diagnosed with C Diff infection. After she completed all her medications, her symptoms all began again. An xray shows gas but she needs to have an abdominal ultrasound to see any further causes. Blue pearl pet hospital of Augusta is where she will be seen on April 12. Pepper makes everyone smile! From the cvs pharmacy window to chic fila, she is well known. She “cries” for attention and certainly gets it. I have had several conversations with drivers stopped next to us at the red light. She’s pure joy. Having my pet healthy again will mean the world to me. She’s usually so full of energy and life, it’s devastating ti see her have no energy or appetite. She’s already lost at least 8 pounds.
Teddy

Teddy came into our lives in November 2020. We saw a post on Craigslist for a puppy that was the last of his litter. He was small, but so energetic and loving. He grew in what seemed like a day, from 7 lbs to 30 lbs, all in 6 months. Teddy is almost 8 months old and he has been in our family for 6 months. He lives with me and my boyfriend in Augusta, GA. Immediately after we took him home, he adjusted within a day. His intelligence amazed us. Within a week, he could sit, lay down, and roll over. He even was able to hit a bell on the door when he wanted to go potty. He is nothing but sweetness to everyone he encounters. Whenever we go to the park, he walks up to kids and adults, waiting for a belly rub. This is a very unexpected and large expense for us. I am a college student and my boyfriend has just graduated from college. You never think that your puppy will need hip surgery in the first year of his life. We just want to give him the best quality of life possible. Out of the blue, teddy started limping and not wanting to walk anywhere.,even to his food bowl. He had an X-ray and it was determined that he has hip dysplasia. He desperately needs FHO surgery followed by physical therapy in order to give him a chance to return to normal. His mood has clearly changed and it’s upsetting to see him disinterested in things now that he can’t get around anymore. Teddy is very special because of how unexpected he turned out. When we got a beagle/ dachshund mix, we expected lots of energy and howling. However, with teddy that wasn’t the case. He doesn’t bark ever. He’s a silent boy who likes to observe people as they walk by, or smell flowers. He could smell flowers for DAYS. Something that makes us laugh is his laziness in the am when it’s time to walk.
