This is Ms. Bella I have had her for almost a year. I rescued her from an individual that didn't want her. We have had a bond since I picked her up. I could tell that she has been in several homes just by the way she was nervous about the ride in the car. She clearly associated a car ride with ending up in a new place with people she didn't know. I never want her to feel like that again. Bella is currently in labor and due to the breeds body make up she is not able to have them naturally. I didn't know that about this breed I also was not wanting puppies but here we are. I am currently at Blue Pearl pet hospital located in Oklahoma city having her checked out. I can't afford the any part of this visit and she may need a c-section which I applied for care credit and was denied. She is a part of the family her and my other dog are best buddies and she is happier now than she was when I first brought her home. She thinks she is boss and even though my other dog is three times the size of her he allows her to think that. She's been good for the both of us because of how much she needed us we needed her too. I lost my job earlier this year. I have gained employment at this point but I'm still struggling to catch up from the few months I was without a job and I tried to get the cate credit for pets I was denied and I don't know what else to do.

Leonard came into my life almost two years ago when I saw him while scrolling through the shelters site. His litter was born in the shelter, a day before Valentine's Day, to a female dog that was surrendered outside after business hours. He lives at home with my boyfriend and I alongside my boyfriends dog and my two cats. Leonard loves to take naps in the bed with us during the days and on weekends. During the nights he gets warm and likes to sleep on the couch where it's cooler. He enjoys going on long walks around the neighborhood and playing keep-away in the backyard. He loves playing tug-a-war with my boyfriend also. If he needs/wants to go outside then he will do a long stretch to confirm when I ask him. My younger cousin is one of Leonard's favorite people. His excitement jumps through the roof when he stays over. Leonard is a big talker, if there is something he wants you to know he'll say it and keep going until you listen. During the warmer months Leonard loves playing with the water that comes out of the hose or sprinkler. He loves any water, from the hose, the sky, or even snow. In late August 2023 Leonard started limping on the left back leg. I took him to the vet they believed his cruciate ligament was tearing. He was put on somewhat restricted movement and cold laser therapy was administered through a few appointments. Unfortunately while we were trying to heal the left leg, he started to limp on the right. Causing him to need TPLO surgery on the right leg in September I'm a full time student who is paying out of pocket for my college tuition with the income earned from my job. I used care credit for the first surgery but still have a large balance left and am unable to acquire more credit to pay for the left leg surgery that is needed.
Millie

When I graduated college, I knew I wanted a dog again after growing up with my Doberman, Beastie. I was privileged enough to meet Millie, a survivor from a dog fighting ring that was busted by the Sheriff's Office. She was stoic and standoffish, but I fell in love with her immediately. She LOVES her cats. She plays with them, worries about them, mothers them. She also lives with her two brother dogs, Mulligan and Tiger and she absolutely lives to play with them. She really came out of her shell when I got her first dog brother about five years ago. She loves meeting new people and new cats, not a fan of new dogs, though, but that is expected. Millie is such a goofy girl. Everything about her is special. She was saved from the pound literally the day before she was to be put down. I got her two weeks later. The way she grunts when playing, the zoomies she gets in the yard when her brothers rile her up. Just looking at her makes me smile. Don't tell the others, but she is my favorite child. About a month ago, I noticed Millie was limping. I took her to several vets who finally diagnosed her with a torn CCL in both rear legs and a torn meniscus in her right rear leg. My primary vet is Midwest Vet hospital and her surgeon is Blue Pearl Animal Hospital in OKC, OK I was in an IED explosion when I was deployed while in the military. It's left me with a LOT of mental and physical problems and I have not been able to work anymore. Millie being well means she will be able to play with her family again.
Sky

Sky is 9 months old, I got her as a puppy! She’s an inside dog, but also loves the outside. She’s got major energy she loves running around in circles! Sky sleeps in bed with me of course! Lol. She is so protective over my 10 month old & 3 year old. She follows both my kids around and plays with them outside. Sky has learned tons of tricks! She knows how to shake, lay down sit, high five, and just learned how to hug recently. She’s so smart and has turned into such a good puppy! Sky was hit by a car. They found in an X-ray that she has a broken pelvis bone. Her liver is also pushed up in her diaphragm and she has a tear in her diaphragm. She’s having trouble breathing because her lungs are squished. My whole family will be absolutely devastated to lose sky. She goes everywhere with us, and she’s such a huge part of our family. We cannot imagine our life without her.
