One day at work I overheard someone on the phone talking about needing to find homes for puppies so I politely interrupted and asked them if I could be considered for a pup to which he said yes. A few days later I was introduced to my soul pup! That was May of 2020 and we have been inseparable since. Thankfully he doesn’t have any illnesses that I know of but I do know it’s time for booster shots, flea meds and I would love to be able to get his blood drawn just to make sure everything internally is healthy for him. The name of the vet he has been to in the past is Brady Veterinary Services. This lil guy is so smart that it’s eerie at times. He follows my phone conversations and knows all the family by name. (My mom and dad he knows as grandma and grandpa). He started his own routine 100% on his own of EVERY night when we lay down to go to sleep he jumps up and pushes his head into my neck for about 3 or 4 mins (g-nite hug) before curling up behind my knees for the night. I had to quit my job to come take care of my elderly (77) mom and she needs assistance with almost everything so unfortunately a job just isn’t in the cards for me right now.
Faun
Faun is a 7 year old Great Pyrenees in Matlock, WA, who needs $2,000 for Surgical Removal of Mass Near Anus.

Faun has been with us from his birth. His mother Sunshine is the daughter of Star whom we adopted as a rescue great Pyrenees when we moved to Clearwater Sanctuary land over 10 years ago. Faun has 3 siblings here as well,Pepper and Otter his sisters and Rocko his brother. Berry his father is here as well. A close and happy family. They keep the land and livestock safe and provide loving company. Faun is happy and active butt he has developed a " mass"(size of walnut) growing next to his anus. (I'll spare you the photos!) Dr. Pinkers at Brady Veternary Hospital has assured us a surgical removal will cure the problem. Just now when he injures the mass there is blood which looks frightful. It needs to be removed!! Faun got his name because he is and always been a very gentle spirit. He is a diligent LGD and usually chooses a close secluded spot as his position. He is a very talented barker with multiple tones and patterns. He loves to bark with an echo. He has 2 pups here whom have has same talent. Faun is never aggressive and greets everyone with a smile and kisses. We love this dog so very much. Faun's surgery is estimated to cost up to $2250. I have an outstanding $200 balance from Fauns initial diagnostic visit that must be paid before his procedure. I'm 75 and recieve less than $1000 per month. After my triple bypass last year I'm less able to take on day labor.
Tucker
Tucker is a 9 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Hoquiam, WA, who needs $1,945 for Dental Extraction.

Tucker is in pain. He had to be surrendered to North Beach PAWS because his family could not take care of his dental needs. Tucker is super sweet. He is currently on pain medications and antibiotics because his teeth are rotten and his mouth is infected; we hope to get him dental surgery soon. Tucker needs dental care. Brady Veterinary Hospital estimates that with X Rays, anesthesia, medications and extractions, the treatment will cost $1945.79, although the estimate may vary from $1820 to $2011. Tucker is super sweet and loves everyone. Plus that face! Unfortunately he is in pain and that has caused him to start marking, but a little training and a lot of relief from pain will surely solve that issue. NB PAWS has asked our donors to help with Tucker's care. We even have a loving (but not rich) family ready to foster him. Tucker can get back to being his wonderful, cute self when the pain is gone and he can eat well again.
