Odie
Odie is a 6 Year Old Miniature Australian Shepherd in Anaconda, MT, who Needs $2,000 for Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL) in his Knee.
Anaconda, MT
We adopted him along with his brother Dawson back in January 2020 because no one wanted him. He has been our heart and soul of the family. He loves to cuddle and give kisses and lots of love to anyone. His brother Dawson would be lost without him as they were inseparable as babies. Odie reminds us of the dog Odie in the cartoon Garfield sometimes because of his antics. We want to help Odie return to the kind of life he so enjoys. Chasing gophers with his brother and taking long walks with us. He injured his knee when he ran down two steps that were slippery and injured his left rear knee. He is now limping and not able to use his leg fully because of a cruciate knee which means the ligaments behind his knee are both torn and cannot support him. Odie loves to tell anyone who will listen, his story and absolutely loves his favorite neighbors, our grandsons, and his dad. Trying to finding gophers is his favorite past-time, along with long walks in the mountains. We are on a fixed income and finding the extra money to replace Odie's knee is very difficult for us to achieve and putting him down is not a option for us as he means too much to us to go on without him in our lives.

Luna is a 7 year old Golden Retriever in Dickinson , ND, who needs $2,000 for Achilles Tendon Rupture with Fixator.

I've had Luna for about 7 years now, a friend of mine wasn't able to give her the time she needed because she had to work a lot, she knew I would love her and always try my best to take care of her. She lives with me, my boyfriend, our German shepherd, her best friend. And our cat. We all love Luna so much. I am looking for help for my girl Luna, I brought her to the park, she was running and hurt her back left leg, her Achilles tendon ruptured, and she will need surgery and a fixator. At bridger veterinary specialists & emergency. Harley
Harley is a 9 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Whitehall , MT, who needs $2,000 for Back Surgery for Bulging or Ruptured Disc.
Whitehall, MT
Harley is my house princess. She has the run of the house and owns the furniture. She is young at heart and you would never guess she is 9yo. She is full of life with a young spirit. Harley hurt her back somehow getting off the bed. She now has a hard time walking on her hind legs. Harley just had a tooth extraction and some lumps removed that were covered. The specialist at Bridger Veterinary Specialist & ER, thinks it is a disk that is bulging out or has ruptured. She is needing a MRI and surgery that will cost around $8,000. Harley loves the outdoors, when it's warm of course, camping, going for walks, and endless cuddles. She loves everyone she meets. She has the kindest soul and would not ever think about hurting anyone. She will follow my grandson all over the house just to be near him. She absolutely adores my son and loves to go visit her grandma, my mom. This has come as a sudden surprise to the family and financially not ready for this. This expense was never expected! She is young at heart and physically nothing wrong with her before this incident. She is not ready to give up and neither am I. Please help her!

Orion
Orion is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Butte, , who needs $2,000 for Tibial Fracture-Intramedullary Locking Nail.
Butte
Orion showed up at my home in the cold weather, no food or water and with two fractures in her leg. I found out that she belonged to my neighbor. He didn't want anything to do with her. I took her to Butte Veterinary Center and they told me they could not do the surgery and referred me to Bridger Veterinary Specialists in Bozeman. She had her surgery and is doing wonderful but the cost was $5,000. I am a low income senior and I could not just leave her outside with no one to help her. I am trying to see if anyone can help me pay her vet bill. She is a very loving cat and I believe she needs alot of love. I have rescued many pets in my life. No one is left on their own. Orion is a very loving cat and she gets along with my other cat. She recently enjoyed her first Christmas. Last year I went through a divorce, after 21 years of marriage. I am a low income senior with only social security as my only income. I realized the vet bill would be costly but I never dreamed it would be $5000. I have paid for the Butte vet out of my own.

Albus
Albus is a 18 year old Mix-Breed in Butte, MT, who needs $1,000 for Diagnosis and Treatment.
Butte, MT
Albus was a shelter adoption. He was sick when he was purchased but healed completely with medication. Albus is 18 years old and weighed 17lbs when we adopted him. He has been in a constant decline in weight and muscle mass since his adoption. He has always had runny eyes noses and was recently diagnosed with feline herpes which he has actively been receiving treatment on. Albus’s right eye is almost completely invisible. It’s constantly watering and gooping and he is hiding out from his owners and other cats. He is having severe loss of muscle mass and breathing problems. He is also having a hard time controlling his bodily functions and has been throwing up his food more often than normal. Albus is the most loving and affectionate cat. He loves to run and play with his siblings as well as follow moms around the house and give them all the snuggles. He has taken a particular liking to his little brother George. They play together a lot. We just relocated and have put all our funds into that. This really did get bad over night and a local vet was contacted and then we were told he needed around the clock care at the emergency vet that is 2 hours away. If he needs surgery his bills could be $1000+.

Moab
Moab is a 5-year-old Golden Retriever in Bozeman, MT, who needs $2,000 for Emergency Heat Stroke Treatment.
bozeman, MT
Moab is a fun-loving, hard-working, loving golden retriever who is (almost) 6 but can still kick it like he's a pup! We've moved around a bunch from upstate New York to Colorado to Texas and currently Montana. He loves to join us for our adventures in the backcountry skiing, running, or hiking! He's the best adventure partner a girl could ask for. Moab is a sweet, sweet boy who loves to cuddle up on the couch just as much as he loves to run long miles in the woods. He shows love to anyone and everyone, giving them the support they need. He is my emotional support animal but has helped so many others feel safe, secure, and steadied with his demeanor. Being my emotional support animal, Moab has been trained to help me get through anxiety/panic attacks, stay grounded during intense or scary situations, and remind me to breathe when I get overwhelmed. He is the reason I am still alive, after helping me get through a few near-death years in treatment for a severe eating disorder. On a recent 20 mile hike across the Ridgeline in Montana (from Fairy Lake to the M) we had made it nearly 17 miles in and Moab experienced severe heat stroke. His body shut down on him with three miles to go and my partner and I took turns carrying him the three remaining miles on our shoulders. His temp was 107 when we got him to Pet Emergency Trauma Specialists/Bridger Veterinary Specialists. As a student, I do not have the means to pay for Moab's treatment. He has been my rock since the moment I got him as a pup. I need him just as much as he needs me, and seeing him in poor health is killing me. I need to be there for him, but right now I need help doing that.

Rayce
Rayce is a 8-year-old in Cody , WY, who needs $2,000 for Limb-sparing bone transplant surgery.
Cody, WY
Rayce is our magnificent, purebred rottweiler who came from a breeder in Utah. With us through my pregnancy and his big brother's entire life, Rayce is now 8. He has been the center of our world for so many years and it has been devastating to learn that he has a very aggressive form of cancer- osteosarcoma. Without this surgery, he will die in 2-3 months. Rayce came to us in 2014 and has been my son's big brother his whole life. Their bond is incredibly deep & touching. We also have a cat that Rayce gets along with fabulously. Every person to meet Rayce remarks on what a loving, affectionate dog he is. Attention from his people is all he wants. Snuggles every morning and following us wherever we go shows what a deeply attached creature he is. Rayce's best friend is his little boy. He is gentle and sings when Rennan laughs. He sleeps at the foot of our bed and doesn't let us out without some cuddle time. After bath, Rayce gets the zoomies. He has such a big personality and is always the center of attention. Moreover, he is an emotional, intelligent animal that wants to be loved. Rayce was diagnosed with osteosarcoma of his hind left leg and we would like to pursue treatment involving surgical removal of the bone and tumor. This is a new, advanced procedure that would not otherwise be an option for treatment. His surgeon is Dr Wheeler with Bridger Veterinary Specialists and his oncologist is Dr. Kelly Carlsten. I was laid off last year due to COVID and we have no means to cover his expenses for treatment, let alone pain management. To prolong his life means everything to us. We cannot simply watch him deteriorate rapidly and with no quality of life.

Shy
Shy is a 4-year-old Lab in Livingston, MT, who needs $2,000 for wound closure.
Livingston, MT
When the mother of Bella, our other dog died from a stroke, Bella got doggie depression bad. So, when a friend of mine's, dog had puppies, I thought it might help cheer up, our sad dog. Not only did it help our dog's depression, it helped both of our children that have mental illness to feel better again! Shy is our neighborhood watch dog. When the neighbor's dog barks, she jumps to the back of the couch, and checks for sketchy plastic bags. Spring time, you can find Shy outside planting her plastic sharks in a row, just like she sees the neighbors planting their flowrrs. Summer time she has her kiddie pool, that she loves to play in. Every night for walks, she meets you and twirls at the door. My husband broke his right ankle, and tore his pcl in his left knee, got a blood clot and ruptured a baker's cyst, which caused him to lose his job. He finally gets to go back to work at the end of the month My son was taking shy for a car ride, when he gets home shy gets out of the car, and is brutally attacked by another dog. After taking her to the vet and getting antibiotics we thought our problems were over, turns out they'd just begun. Shy ended up going septic, with her organs shutting down, she is such a brave little girl, but will still need ongoing surgeries from pets emergency Our little "watch" dog hides behind you and barks at any intruder. Unless it's us at the door, then she's on the pool table. The neighbor's dog patiently waits at Shy's door ever night for their walks. Her friend misses her terribly. Shy, is more than a dog, she is family. The local McDonalds knows shy's standard order for her ice cream.
