Maya is the sweetest girl.She is a 6 years old tabby mix with the furriest belly, beautiful coloring and the cutest fur points on her ears. She was a feral kitten rescued by a friend of mine that I adopted back in 2019. We recently moved again so I can get the best treatment for my Traumatic Brain Injury sustained after a car accident. It’s just me, her and her big brother Murphy. Maya has Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions(FORL) on two of her teeth. FORL is inflammatory process resulting in progressive loss of the entire tooth structure. If left untreated can become extremely painful.She needs to have these two teeth extracted. She is displaying mild pain and mild occasional bleeding on both sides. This developed in just under a year. Maya is a shy girl and has had a lot of health issues as a kitten which lead to her diagnosis of an autoimmune disease. She gets flare ups occasionally leading to antibiotics and an appetite stimulant. She has been good for a little under two years. She LOVES her older brother Murphy, snuggling under lots of blankets & of course treat time! She makes the loudest meow’s playing with her “feathers” In 2021 I was in a car accident, sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury making me unable to work. Funds depleted quickly and I have sold everything I own. I have been so blessed with those that have helped myself and the cats during this trying time.
