My Yorkie Duke first came into my life when he was 8 weeks old. I got him from a family friend and he’s been my little bestie ever since. His name is Duke and was chosen by his grandpa, inspired by the song Duke or Earl! His favorite part of his day is his daily walks, which he gets lots of! Duke is currently experiencing significant dental issues. He has two loose back teeth that are broken and causing him severe discomfort and require extraction. Several of his small front bottom teeth are also loose, contributing to ongoing pain and difficulty eating. We recently took him to Brookhurst animal medical center and the vet confirmed extractions are needed. Temp prescribed pain meds. Duke is the sweetest boy and loves people and animals. He loves cats! He enjoys going on his walks everyday and smelling everything. If anyone pays him any attention he gets super excited. He’s a cuddle bug and loves his sister Luna. The cost of the necessary extractions and related veterinary care is more than I am currently able to afford on my own, especially on short notice. Seeing him in discomfort has been very difficult, and I want to do everything I can to restore his health and comfort.
