Damu was a Birthday gift to me. I was in love the moment I meet him. He is my everything! Damu is a happy puppy. He loves to come in to work and be greeted by all his human friends. Damu is a Chihuahua mix. Damu is a 5-month puppy. I received Damu when he was only 2 months and he fit so cute in the palm of my hand. Damu is my only Furry child. in the household its only Damu and myself. He loves to have his dinner when I have mine, so cute. He like my tiny shadow he follows me everywhere. how can that not put a big smile on your face. When we are driving to go have a visit, he jumps on me cause he so excited to go see a fury friend or go to Daycare. Damu is special to me because he always keeps a smile on my face. Seems like Damu knows when I have a had a rough day and he kisses and playfulness or just doing something silly makes me and my day so much better. Damu is a true Therapy dog. Everyone that meets him falls in love right away. I really miss Damu being able to stand on his 2 back legs and dancing with me when I play music. On December 5th, 2023, I sent Damu to Daycare to run and have fun with other dogs his size. Damu is only 7 pounds. Around 4:30pm that Sunday I received a call from his daycare stating Damu had Jump over a equipment and injured his leg. Damu has been seen by his vet and he has a fractured bone in his tiny back leg. Currently Damu is in a Cast. Damu will need surgery to correct the broken bone. I'm currently have a job. this was a big, unexpected expense I didn't think would occur in Damu young age. Its only Damu but with the cost of living I'm unable to pay the 2500-3000 charge that will occur for his surgery.

The no name beautiful brown dog was dropped off on my door steps at 7 weeks and as a first time animal parent I did not know what to do. But because my two boys and I thought she was one of the cutest dogs we had seen we decided to keep her. She is now 4 and we couldn’t imagine life without her. She is very mild manner only barks at the postman and loves us just as much as she loves squeaky toys She loves to eat. We only give her doggie food and treats. And occasionally a good ole rib. But for the most part just dog food. She has a bed in both of the boys rooms preferably the oldest sons room considering he thinks he’s the dad. She slept in the bed with him until she was 1 1/2. She is so mild manner she is the best dog a new owner could ask for. I am current receiving SSI due to a reoccurring tumor in my face. I try working soft jobs but because of the covid-19 things are hard. And her eyes have gotten worse. We thank everyone who reads and donates or not. We are thankful to have a story to tell. Bless you all. We had a scare about 6 months ago where we were informed she might have had a torn ACL. Seems the gophers had destroyed the backyard before I notice and her leg got caught. However her double eye lash issue she has had since we had her. But because of the cost and dealing with vets who where not authentic it has taken me a while to find honest vets. California Veterinarian hospital has been good She tends to be a bit timid. She loves going for walks at the beach and anywhere for that matter. Her manners are so well she only likes to poop and pee on grass. She does about 5 tricks only if we have snacks. Shes funny like that. She is well around all animals and does not chew things or eat anything but food. We adore her.
