Lily

Lily is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Burnaby , BC, who needs $25,000 for Enlarged Kidneys.

Burnaby

Lily is a 3 year old indoor cat who lives with me in a loving home. He is truly the baby of our family and holds a very special place in my heart. He has the sweetest personality gentle, affectionate, and always wanting to be close to me. He follows me around, keeps me company, and brings so much comfort and happiness into my life every day. Lily isn’t just a pet to me, he is my whole heart. Lily’s condition came on so suddenly. He started hiding, which he has never done before, and I knew something was wrong. Hearing that he has serious kidney issues and enlarged kidneys broke my heart. This is an emergency, and I feel helpless watching him go through this, especially because he is still so young. He needs urgent care to have a chance to get better. Lily is such a loving and gentle boy. He greets all of us at the door every time we come home, like he’s been waiting just for us. He loves being close, following me around and always wanting to be part of everything we do. His presence brings so much comfort and happiness into our home, and he truly makes every day brighter. I’m not working and can’t cover Lily’s medical bills. I’ve already borrowed $6,000 for his tests and am struggling with ongoing costs. Lily is my whole heart, and having him healthy again would mean everything. Your support would give him a chance to recover and bring hope.

Photo of Tippy

Tippy

Tippy is a 8 year old Chihuahua in Concrete, , who needs $25,000 for IVDD Surgery.

Concrete

Tippy is an 8yo, 17lb Dachshund/Chihuahua mix and my PTSD service dog. Rescued as a puppy, she has been my life for 8 years. We live in Concrete, WA. Since her Feb 8 IVDD relapse, she is paralyzed in her hind legs and on strict crate rest. I use a specialized harness to move her and must manually express her bladder every 6 hours. She is a brave girl now fighting to regain her mobility and joy. Tippy had 4-disc IVDD surgery in 2023. She relapsed Feb 8, 2026, and is now hind-limb paralyzed with no bladder control. She needs emergency surgery for a suspected new disc failure to prevent permanent damage. We are seeking life-saving specialty care at Canada West Veterinary Specialists in Vancouver, BC. This is an urgent effort to restore the mobility of my devoted PTSD service dog. Tippy is my PTSD service dog and soulmate. A "Parkour dog" at heart, she scales beach rocks and wrestles with her 80lb best friend, Nala. She’s incredibly intuitive, sensing exactly when I need her grounding presence. Adored by her "aunties," she is the heart of our home. Her resilient spirit and infectious joy make her irreplaceable. We are fighting to get her back to the life she loves. We’re bankrupt after saving our cat last month. Now my PTSD service dog, Tippy, is paralyzed. Surgery is $15k+; expressing her bladder daily is soul-crushing. She is my lifeline; her recovery is my survival. Please help me save the dog who has spent 8 years saving me.

Dexter

Dexter is a 8-year-old GSP, Border Collie, Dalmatian X in Abbotsford , BC, who needs $2,000 for Acute Liver, Kidney, Gallbladder Injury.

Abbotsford

Dexter - he is our world. We rescued him from a puppy mill in the Okanagan when he was 6 weeks old. He came to us beaten and scorned with wounds on his nose. We spent countless hours and years gaining his trust and calming him to know that he was loved beyond words. Our lil man still suffers from separation anxiety which we work on daily. He is our breath, he is our little boy. Dexter is our only pet and he laps up the love and attention daily. He has his own bed that is attached to our bed and he is just a reach away to give him the love and comfort through the night. He loves his walks and hikes into the woods. Just a year ago we finally were able to teach him to swim and now he absolutely loves it. He is our biggest fan and cheers us on during events Dexter loves life - that simple. His smile is absolutely contagious and lights up every room he enters. He is the heart and soul of our family. His favourite time is Christmas when he can spend all his time with his family. He LOVES presents and get spoiled beyond words. - but he is soooo appreciative of everything he gets. He is the only dog I know that says thank you for everything he gets. January 2024 Dexter just wasn’t himself. He started showing signs of sickness. We took him to the doctors on January 8 and after multiple visits he kept on getting worse. We went for a 2nd opinion and it came back that he was environmentally poisoned. Liver, kidney and gallbladder injury. 20lb weight loss and he is still fighting for his life at Canada West Specialist Hospital Dexters medical bills have reached 20,000 and we simply don’t have anymore funds and we are desperate to save our boy’s life - we need help desperately. We have tried everything we can think of to gain the well needed funds to keep his care going.
