Poseidon was a gift to my youngest daughter for her birthday. Her grandma got him for her and he's been her best friend ever since. He was sent down from Ohio and she was so excited to finally meet him when he arrived. She was watching the plane times every minute to see if his flight got in or not. She loves him like he's her child. He is so loving with whom ever he meets. He loves belly rubs. Going outside running and playing, whether it is fetch, tug a war, or He will even play hide an seek and try and find you. He loves running with you or go for walks. Or even going and getting your morning coffee. He is hooked on his pup cups. He is the biggest cuddler and thinks he is a lap dog. I am a single mother. Due to covid, my hours at work were cut for awhile. I am trying to do what is best for Poseidon and still give my daughter (his owner) the things needed to graduate high school and college. Poseidon has always been a healthy dog. When he started limping, we thought he was just sore from being outside running around. It did not change after a few days. We found out he has bone cancer. We chose amputation since he is so full of life and happiness. He now has to get chemotherapy to try and prolong hos loving happy life. He will receive treatment at fetch pet clinic in Bonita Springs. We have 2 cats a male and a female. They are his child hood friends lol. They have grown up together. We are always teasing about how our female Athena is his girlfriend she is always following him around and he kisses her. She even rounds him up to his room when it is bed time. They make you smile with the love of each other.
