Maggie Mae
Maggie Mae is a 6 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback in Waukesha, WI, who needs $10,000 for Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy.
Waukesha, WI
Maggie is our sweet 6-year-old rescue who’s been part of the family since she was just 10 weeks old. From the start, she’s had a gentle soul and a protective streak. Though her walks have become less frequent while she awaits surgery for CCL repair on both legs. Maggie’s mobility has taken a hit, she can no longer go on walks or run like she used to, due to a torn CCL. She’s scheduled for a TPLO procedure with Dr. Kevin Kroner at Care Surgery Center, a trusted specialist in orthopedic veterinary care. The surgery is essential to restore her quality of life, but it comes with a steep price tag—around $10,000. I simply can't afford it on a fixed income. Despite her current limitations, Maggie’s spirit remains strong. She still watches over the cats like a furry guardian and finds joy in quiet moments. Thunderstorms, though, reveal her softer side—she’ll curl up close, trembling until the skies calm. Snow has always been her playground, and we hope she’ll be bounding through it again someday. Maggie isn’t just a dog; she’s our companion. Just last week, I lost my father, who owned the duplex where I live. His passing has been inI live on a fixed income, my father just passed away and my rent will be going up because of the new owners. Thankfully I won't have to move, so I will be able to keep my beloved pets

Oakley
Oakley is a 6 year old German Shorthaired Pointer in Phoenix, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO).
Phoenix, AZ
I took Oakley home from the shelter at 9 weeks old. It was just over 6 years ago. I brought him home to my other pup that is now 9 years old, and they became good buddies. He was/is the most snuggly cuddly sweetheart of a pup. My fiancé and his girls absolutely love him and I can’t imagine our life without him. Unfortunately, last October, he was running fast and took a hard turn around a corner and started limping. He tore his CCL ligament on his left leg. (Human ACL) After 6 months of healing, doing so much better, he managed to tear his other one and re-tore his left at the same time. He needs surgery on both knees to help stabilize and provide hope for his future. He has so much more life to live. Oakley is a high-energy loving dog. He loves to play fetch and run around the backyard. He enjoys laying outside, rolled over on his back, looking like he is sunbathing! He enjoys every human he meets and just wants to jump and kiss everyone. He would also lay down on your lap if you sat down with him. He is such a lover. I am currently trying to find a way to pay for these surgeries as they came as a surprise and very costly. Oakley has constantly been in and out of the vet for many medical reasons, including a costly surgery last year to remove a mass.
Kyson
Kyson is a 8 month old Cane Corso in Phoenix, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Arthroscopy of Bilateral Shoulders.
Phoenix, AZ
Kyson, or “Ky the Big Guy,” is my lovable 8-month-old Cane Corso with a giant heart to match his paws. I purchased him from a “breeder,” only to realize he hadn’t received the best care. Despite his rough start, he’s full of love, goofy energy, and slobbery kisses. Now, he needs urgent surgery, and I need your help to give him the healthy future he deserves. Every donation means the world to us! He is enduring severe pain from Osteochondritis, a debilitating joint condition. He urgently requires arthroscopic surgery on both shoulders at CARE Surgery Center to alleviate his suffering and prevent further complications. Without this procedure, his pain will intensify, severely limiting his mobility and quality of life. Please help give this gentle giant the relief he desperately needs. His intelligence shines during training sessions, where he quickly masters new commands, often with a proud wag of his tail. Despite his size, Kyson is a cuddle enthusiast, believing he’s the perfect lap dog, and will nuzzle into family members, offering warmth and affection. His playful spirit extends to both humans and other dogs, making him a beloved companion. Finances haven't been the best and despite applying for grants and seeking assistance from various organizations, we’ve been unable to secure the necessary funds.

Pogo
Pogo is a 11 year old Mix-Breed in Phoenix, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO).
Phoenix, AZ
Pogo was adopted from a local animal shelter when she was 2 years old. She quickly became a loved member of the family. She lives with her two humans and another rescued dog. Unfortunately, Pogo has a ruptured cranial cruciate ligament which requires surgery to not only ease her pain, but to avoid causing damage to her other legs from over compensating. Pogo has 400 names ranging from Pogtato, Pogolicious, Pogley, Pogasis, etc. She is a total ham who lives for snacks and lovin’s. She loves to meet new people and to visit Grammy’s house. We are spread extremely thin. The A/C unit went out, a window cracked and needs replaced, the other dog had medical issues, vehicle repairs, etc. This month alone has cost us more than we can provide. All we want is to see Pogo her normal, jovial self.

Raven
Raven is a 9-year-old Lab in Phoenix , AZ, who needs $2,000 for Surgical removal of Large Mass.
Phoenix, AZ
I adopted Raven along with his sister when they were just puppies. He is a lab/mix. Previously to me owning them they were both saved from a box in the backyard. I was told they were the only siblings that lived. They were completely covered in mange and were missing most of their hair. They have both lived with me for nine years. Raven has been in Sweetheart since day one. He is the one that loves to cuddle and is always happy no matter how much pain he is in. He is very loving to his sibling and always kind to other dogs. He loves to play with his sister, they are connected at the hip it seems. Food and love is all he knows as my niece will say. He keeps her company a lot, they are close buddies. Raven loves to spoon. You will wake up and he will be laying on a pillow behind you with his arm over you. He’s sneaky, likes to trick his sister so he can steal her food. He loves kiss is so much that he feels everyone needs a bath. He is also a personal alarm clock. The minute he knows it’s time to get up, he will come to your side and kiss you until you get up. He always knows when your sad. Just recently he started to grow a large mass on his side. The vet was amazed at how healthy and happy he was considering it’s size and his hip dysplasia. The mass has been tested and it is removable, also not likely to spread. If I can get it removed, he has a really good chance at living a long life. I posted a picture of it with my foot next to it to show you the size. I recently quit my job to go to school full-time, and my husband is overseas. He is our only source of income. If the tumor is not removed, it will eventually open up and I will have to put him down. Raven is our family, saving him means the world to us and to his sister.

Keona Chavez
Keona Chavez is a 1-year-old Cane Corso in Phoenix, AZ, who needs $2,000 for FHO Hip Surgery.
Phoenix, AZ
Keona was gifted to us by our Veterinarian at 17 lbs/7 weeks old. She was found in a dumpster with a severe cut and infection in her right front leg. She is an amputee. We've had Keona since April 2022, she's been the highlight of our home. We do have 4 other dogs and she gets along with all of them. Keona is such a loving baby. She deserves to live her best puppy life. Keona is our Special baby, considering everything she's been through and now going through. She sleeps on her own twin size ortho memory foam mattress, a pillow because she sleeps on it like a person lol, her bed is fitted with a mattress protector cover, fitted sheets and cozy blankies. A dog bed wasn't comfortable enough for her and she wasnt sleeping well at night. Over the course of the passed months, Keona has been such a blessing from her little personality and she is such an amazing watch dog. Nothing gets passed her. When she doesn't get her way, she throws tantrums lol she'll bite her blanket or pillow and toss them around until I lay with her on her bed When I 1st met Keona, my pitbull pup had an appt for her 2nd round of vaccines. Our vet asked if I'd like to see a pup he had in the back. I replied, Yes, but no jokingly, because I knew I'd take her home for sure. & that's exactly what happened. She had 3 little legs and staples along her side, a wobbly step, and she waddled right into my heart. She healed up awesomely. She's absolutely loved. The Hip Dysplasia wasn't something we considered this soon in her life. It was completely unexpected. So we weren't financially prepared for such a large bill. But she desperately needs it done. Her hip dislocates several times a day. I massage it back in place, she cries

Charlotte
Charlotte is a 9-year-old Dachshund in Queen Creek, AZ, who needs $2,000 for laparoscopic vaginectomy.
Queen Creek, AZ • Happy Tails Dachshund Rescue
Charlotte came to Happy Tails Dachshund Rescue as a stray in May. She was spotted on a busy street with a companion dog who had been hit by a car. She is currently in foster care with our rescue under the care of our veterinarian. Charlotte is 9 years old and was severely neglected by her previous owner. She is overweight, had a bad cough, her coat was patchy and, to top it all off, she had vaginal polyps and a mammary mass. Happy Tails Dachshund Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non- profit, volunteer based rescue. Our mission is to save as many Doxies from euthanasia, abuse, or abandonment and place them in happy homes. After the polyps and mass were removed, they were tested. The mass came back negative, but the polyps came back positive for cancer. Due to the delicate location of the cancer, our vet referred us to a laparoscopic surgeon, Dr. Seth Bleakley, at Care Surgery Center. He will remove any remaining cancer tissue from the area. Under the care of our vet, this sweet girl, has received meds for her cough, been spayed and had the polyps and mass removed. Charlotte has been following a healthy diet in foster care. She has lost a few pounds, can move around much better and her coat is already improving!
