We brought Oreo home when he was only 8 weeks old 🥹 he weighed less than a pound at that time. A family friend’s farm cat had kittens and I knew once I met him that I needed to bring him home. We instantly fell in love with him. He’s become my daughter’s best friend as well as our dog’s (Emmy Lu). We named him Oreo because he’s black and white. He’s our little Oreo cookie. 🤍🖤 12/29 we brought Oreo into the ER vet. He was sent home with pain meds & we were told he had crystals in his urine. Less than 2 weeks later we were back - he had a complete urethral blockage. He needed a catheter/bladder flush under sedation. A few days later another blockage. vet did surgery and sent him home with a catheter in. Catheter is now removed and he’s going to need more help. Oreo loves being in the same room as his humans. He observes and cuddles with me each night 🤍 He has his own sleeping spot at the end of the bed. Our dog Emmy Lu and him have created a bond & keep each other company while Lily and I are gone during the day. Oreo’s favorite toy is a q-tip 😂 he has figured out how to open the bathroom vanity and get them himself. He really is one of a kind. Oreo has had 3 emergent vet visits this month. This was all so unexpected & he would have passed without the care that he has received. I’m living paycheck to paycheck and can’t afford the surgery that he’s going to need to fix this issue. Euthanasia is the next option 🥺
