Kobe
Kobe is a 6-year-old Labrador Retriever in Las Vegas, NV, who needs $2,000 for ACL surgery .
Las Vegas, NV
Kobe came into my life when I decided I wanted my own companion that I can love. I’ve always loved animals and I was ready to take care of one myself. Kobe has traveled all over with me living in 5 states and Mexico. He became my ESA as we learned to depend on one another and I was suffering with bad mental health issues. He is the reason I got off of medicine. Kobe loves outdoors. He loves going on walks and rolling around in grass. He has had a pretty active life. He is submissive and great with other dogs. He is loving of all people and especially food. He is not aggressive one bit. He truly is an amazing dog and gets along with everyone. Anyone who meets come can attest to that I had an unexpected life change, I was dating someone 5 years, Kobe’s dog dad, who left me out of the blue. He was the sole provider for us. I got left with 0 money to my name. I finally am back on my feet, I don’t have 4k to put towards this I am looking to help my guy get pain free. He has recently torn his ACL. I tried the medicine and rest route which has not seemed to work. I now got him a brace off amazon to help with pain. He is not using his leg at all. The other route is bed rest for 8 weeks in a kennel to see if it heals. I do not want him on pain meds for months Just look at that face. He melts my heart every time. This dog and myself have been through a lot together, a natural disaster, too many nights alone, and moving all over, even a terrible heart break where his dog dad abandoned us. He is special to me because when I look at him and if I have anxiety, all is right in the world with him by my side. He knows how I feel at all times, he comforts me

Uriel
Uriel is a 7-year-old Akita in Las Vegas, NV, who needs $2,000 for orthopedic surgery.
Las Vegas, NV
Carol and I were given Uriel by a friend. We have had her since she was a puppy. We named Uriel after an angel. Her name means " Fire of God ". We gave her that name because when we got her she was darker than she is now and we didn't want to name her Smokie. She was a companion to our other Akita Uzziel who was unfortunately put down because of an accident that left her paralyzed. No one would help us with funding. We now have another Akita named Kamael, and they are friends and playmates. We would go to the dog park, walks, friends homes with her. She is a kind and loving dog.
