Cooper was my dad’s dog. His soul dog. My dad died a few months ago and when I got cooper I noticed he had a few cancerous lumps on his body. The vet is estimating 2k for both removal, biopsy, and sent to pathology. He is one of the last things I have left of my dad. I can barely afford to buy groceries let alone pay for surgery. Cooper laid with my dad in his hospital bed at home as he died. He is the center of my world now! The last thing I have of my dad. He is our guard dog and is always protective, I am hoping to keep him around as long as I can! He is the most loyal being. He is a protective boy. He will bark constantly! He loves food and all food. He is the epitome of a soul dog for my dad and I both. Cooper is 8! He has had nothing wrong with him but these cancerous lumps. I am hoping that to raise money. Center hill hospital will be treating cooper. After my dad died I was left with his debt. I’m trying to get out of that while working 50 hours week. I had to drop out of school and focus on bills.

We got her from a guy that had a few puppies and wanted to give a few away. We got her when she was about 6 weeks and we have had her every since. She is now around 9 months or 10 She is a very sweet interactive dog. She does great with everyone and is very friendly. My son has a dog he is a yorkie and her and him get along great. She is a very special dog. She is very friendly and playful and we love her to death. She is the best to us and we want to make sure she is doing great. We have had her for about 9 months and she has never been sick. She has not been vaccinated but we were working on getting that done. But now she is sick and won't eat anything and I'm very scared for her. I am a mother of 3. I live in Olive Branch MS and right now money is tight. I pay all of the bills and I have no help and affording vet services is hard for me. When I do get paid I have to pay bills so that me and my children can have some where to stay.

Opal was one of nine dogs found living in horrendous conditions inside a home after their owner died. The sweet Dachshund is in hideous shape and excruciating pain! Her lower jaw is fractured, her teeth are rotting, and she has mammary tumors. Now Opal needs emergency medical care to change her life. "Can you imagine trying to eat with a rotting and fractured mouth? She needs multiple surgeries to survive, and we need your help," Leslie H., with Tennessee Dachshund Rescue, which saved Opal, tells Waggle. Leslie says despite Opal's past, she seems determined to live. "She is the kindest, most loving little Dachshund and deserves to live out her dog's years pain-free with a family that loves her," Leslie says. "Please consider donating towards her surgeries and ongoing medical care. Donations have been down for our rescue for a long time, and these happy endings wouldn't be possible without your support."
