Kayla came to us at the most least expected time through a rescue. We had lost our pug about 6 months beforehand, and I was working at an event her rescue was at. I saw her and immediately knew she needed to be my furbaby. We went home with her about a week later! She is my love, my goofy girl, my shadow. My soul dog. Kayla was recently diagnosed with mast cell cancer. She had a low grade mast cell tumor removed about 6 months ago, but unfortunately, the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes on her organs. She has been seen at Mount Laurel animal hospital, and getting her cancer treatments at Cherry Hill Animal Hospital. Kayla is a special girl. She loves her adopted brother and sister so much. She loves walls, whipped cream, the beach, food (and I mean anything), but most importantly- me. She follows me everywhere I go. She comes to work with me too. She LOVES people, especially kids. She is so patient with them and gives them kisses. Unfortunately, Kayla’s cancer treatment is fairly expensive. She needs to get injectable chemotherapy for 4-8 weeks, with the potential to switching to a pill chemotherapy option at home. She needs bloodwork done often, and other medications.
