Mango

Mango is a 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Prescott Valley, AZ, who needs $1,100 for Hernia Lump Removal.

Prescott Valley, AZ

We took Mango and her sister Dahlia into our home about a month and a half ago. They’re indoor only cats now and have the full run of their new home. Mango’s favorite spot to curl up for the night is in our sons bed. The veterinarian believes her to be about a year old. Aside from the trauma to her ribs, she’s a very healthy spunky little girl. Mango has quickly fit right into our family. Our 9 year son, Levi and her have definitely developed a special bond already. Anytime Levi’s heads to his bed, Mango’s not far behind him. She’ll lay on his bed and wait for him to give her a good petting. He’s always very careful when he pets her to avoid touching her hurt spot, I can tell how much he lovers her by how careful he is. 🐾♥️ Mango is quite the character. She is very vocal and will let you know when she wants some pets. She is obsessed with her treats and will sit by the treat cabinet and beg until you give in, she’ll even try to sneak up and steal her sisters too and is usually successful lol One of her favorite past time is hunting flies and lounging around with our son, Levi. We’re reaching out for help paying for our furry family member, Mango. We rescued her and her friend Dahlia a little over a month ago. We were out for a late night walk at a local park and she came running up to my partner out of nowhere crying followed by her friend Dahlia. We didn’t know what to but take them in out of fear they might come up to the wrong person because they were so friendly When we took Mango and Dahlia in to our home we were committed to giving them both a happy, healthy full life and we know without having this surgery Mango will not have that opportunity.

Ohanzee

Ohanzee is a 10-year-old Pit/Mix in Dewey, AZ, who needs $800 for Tumor removal.

Dewey, AZ

Ohanzee came into our life when our daughter was a baby almost 11 years ago. When we got him from a friend when he was a puppy. His name is Native American it mean’s shadow. Which fits perfectly cause he is my shadow, always fallowing me around wherever I go. He is very loyal he has proven that many times. Ohanzee has mate named Frayhas he sleeps with they are inseparable. But even though Santa paws got them two new beds. They like to sleep on our couch.he used like to play but he is older now and just wants to enjoy relaxing. He does do tricks for treats, mommy is his favorite person and my daughter&husband his second favorites. He loves ❄️ so much him and my daughter when it snows they go out and run around. He likes to dig himself into the snow and pop out and roll around in it. Then there is the high paw the vets love when he does it. High low double 🐾 s.. he is a very empathetic dog I love how he knows if you are sad/ mild happy, not feeling well if it wasn’t for him I would not be here he chased away ⛰🦁🐗. Ohanzee has a tumor possibly cancer on under his chest and it has grown a lot bigger in the past year. They want to remove it/biopsy it. He is current on his shots as well as fixed I have always made sure what ever problem or emergency happened I took care of it. But this is bigger this time. It’s Been unexpected financially. It would mean alot to have him healthy again he is a big part of our family he grew up with our daughter since she was a baby. We love him so much!

Sugarbaby

Sugarbaby is a 13-year-old Maltese/Poodle in Prescott Valley, AZ, who needs $350 for canine dental and possible oral extraction.

Prescott Valley, AZ

I got Sugar for my special needs daughter at 6 weeks old. She is now 13. My daughter passed away 6 years ago. Two months after she passed I found out I had cancer. I was forced to give up a 19 yr job. I had to go on disability. Because of that I had to sell my home. I live on $1219 a month. Sugar has periodontal disease and it has taken her hearing. The vet says it will eventually go to her heart. Sugar is such a comfort after my daughter passed away. We’ve been through a lot together. My brother has 8 grandkids that I watch and they love her and she dearly loves them. Sugar loves everybody! It’s just me and her now. We live in a senior housing building. Many residents have dogs. She just hangs with me everyday.I also have heart issues with a pacer/defibrillator. She’s happy just to be with me! I live on Soc Sec disability. I get $1219 a month. I can’t afford a secondary medical insurance. So I have to pay 20% of everything Medicare doesn’t pay for. I still need to raise $350. I live in low income senior housing. My rent is $539 a month. Plus some utilities. Sugar has lost her hearing because of periodontal disease. That is devastating to me. A dog should not have to die and become ill because of her teeth. I have always given her dried food. So I was devastated to find this out. The vet says this will go to her heart. United Animal friends has donated $300. But I have to take her to Chino Valley Hospital. Total needed is $598-703. I can do $50. Sugar is very content. She loves her frisbee and ball. The vet says for an inside dog her muscles are great. She’s still very much like a puppy. When people first meet her they think she is a puppy! LOL! She’s been the best dog ever! She’s such a joy! She has nothing to do with me when the grandkids are here. LOL! I think she likes sticking close to them to steal food off their plate! LOL!

Mia

Mia is a 7-year-old Catahoula Leopard mix in Prescott Valley, AZ, who needs $2,000 for ACL tear surgery.

Prescott Valley, AZ

She joined my family when she was 3 months old and is a rescue. She is the sweetest most loving dog for a family. Mia has grown so much with the family and has been the most loyal dog that is happy and will greet you every time you walk through the door. She also has learned when someone did not have the best of days and she will come over and give you a kiss and lay her head on your lap. She is like a second child. My daughter sees Mia as her sister because my daughter was 2 when Mia first come up so the two of them have grown up together and are best friends. Mia has is also my best friend who loves to explore the outdoors. Mia is a very smart dog and has learned the families routine and is always there when you need her the most With Mia's tearing her ACL she is in need of surgery. I am dealing with many financial issues and I am getting hit from all areas, I have been dealing with court fees, attorney fees, and other medical bills, but as a child in the family I do not like seeing Mia in pain. We just moved to a new apartment and I was in and out throughout the whole day, between my last check-in and when I got home two of the fence board fell down and she escaped from the backyard, but lucky animal control was able to pick her up. When she got out of the backyard she ended up tearing her ACL and now she is not able to put any weight on her leg Mia is a best friend and is a huge part of the family. She has her own little personality and she is also a great judge of character when it comes to new people coming into her home. She is always open to meeting new people and loves company and her family. She also loves to cuddle in bed and is a very quick learner.
