Wilmington, NC

Reba was a surprise from my aunt, she was given to me to help my mental health. Reba is more than just a pet to me, she is family. I probably wouldn’t be her if it wasn’t for her. Reba is sweet, playful and she can be shy. I try my best to give her a good home, it’s not perfect but I, and my family love Reba Reba is in need of a surgery to amputate her back leg as soon as possible, or the infection will spread, and she will go septic. College road animal Hospital is the vet we went to, they prescribed her medicine to keep the infection at her foot and to make her more comfortable. They were also the ones that introduced us to this website. The surgery will cost around $3000. Reba is special to everyone in the family. She brings us all joy and peace when playing or just being around her, I was working on getting her as my emotional support animal, until this incident happened. Now my family‘s main focus is raising the money for Reba‘s surgery. My greataunt passed away, not too long ago, it was an unexpected death, my family had to drive many hours to go to the funeral and many hours to come back home. There is only one working person in my family. I’m in school and my younger brother isn’t, my mom has to stay home

I saved Ruby from running wild in the woods. She was with her brothers and sisters. They were starving and so dirty from chicken poop.I have had her 1 year and some bad news from the veterinary that Ruby has bone cancer. We have to amputate her leg leg so she can hopefully enjoy the rest of her life. She is our baby to 2 senior citizens. Please help with my expenses.’ She is going Tuesday December the 10 for her amputation so hopefully she will be be with me and my husband for a long time. They plan on also doing chemotherapy. The vet said that it will help her so we can have her around. She loves and comfort us. We both are seniors and she keeps us going. She knows when we don’t feel good and she stays by our sides. My husband who has bad legs and a bad heart she comforts him. We are both on a fixed income. So it will be hard but we plan on doing it to save her life. She is our life she watches over us and if we didn’t have her I can’t go on without her.

Stormi

Stormi is a 3 year old American Shorthair in Wilmingtong, NC, who needs $2,000 for PU Surgery.

Wilmingtong, NC

We got Stormi 3 years ago after his owner at the time had to move suddenly and needed a home for him. I had adopted his brother Ace from them only a couple months before I got brought him into our family. We currently have 4 boys all fixed and all super connected with one another and bonded for life. His is our big boy because he’s taller than the rest of our babies. He is the glue Stormi has a history of Urinary blockages his first one being well over a year ago and we haven’t had a problem since. He was off his diet for a short period and ended up reblocked. Unfortunately he just continues to get blocked and the vet recommends he have corrective surgery done so he will no longer become blocked. He is the glue of our family. He has a special bond with each individual cat in the household. He loves to cuddle and be very vocal. He loves taking walks on his lease when we are able to and anytime I have a window open he’s laid out in front of it sun bathing. We cannot picture our household with our sweet sweet baby Unfortunately me and my boyfriend had to move due to financial reasons and all of our savings went to the move in July and we are trying to play catch up and we haven’t saved up anywhere near enough for what he needs.

Mr. Kitty showed up on my doorstep looking for food one day. He was a feral cat. Took me about two years to finally get close to him. He would run when I pulled up in the driveway. But as we all know food in Love one over his heart, and he decided this was his home. I got a have a heart trap brought him to the vet and got him neutered. Unfortunately he was FIV positive but that didn’t stop the ❤️ Mr. Kitty sleeps in bed with me every night. He wakes me up about 5:30 in the morning to let me know he’s very hungry. If you don’t have his food on time trust me, he will let you know. Mr. Kitty is so special to me. He’s very needy and demands Love all the time. If you ignore him he’s gonna get in your face until you give him some snuggles he likes to pick and purr. His favorite treats are Temptations, but he can’t have them because he is on a special diet for his bladder stones prevention On Saturday I was getting ready For a walk. Mr. Kitty came walking towards me meowing as loud as he could. I could tell he was in lots of pain and dragging his leg. I was devastated, started crying and took immediately to the emergency vet. They did some x-rays and some tests and said that he blew out his kneecap now he hast to have $3800 emergency surgery. Honestly, I’m a single mom and I have a diabetic child at the house. She’s had diabetes for the last eight years. I have a lot of medical bills. Her medicine alone is hundreds of dollars each month. I honestly need help paying for my cats leg repair which is about $3800 ☹️
