I rescued him all the way from India after my uncle passed away. He was living on a farm, and had I not brought him here, he would have been euthanized. He is my only pet and my entire world. I named him after the place my uncle loved most- Rio. Bringing him home was a journey of love, and I am so grateful to have him by my side today. Our bond is unbreakable; he truly is my best friend. He has always been healthy, but recently, he has started struggling. While chewing a toy, his gums began to bleed severely. It turns out he has severe dental disease. He needs a professional cleaning, X-rays, and potential extractions under anesthesia. If left untreated, the infection could spread to his bloodstream and damage his vital organs. I am terrified of losing my best friend and need to g He is the calmest, most gentle soul. Seeing him try to play with his favorite toy only to stop and walk away because of the pain in his gums absolutely broke my heart. He loves his toys more than anything, and not being able to play hurts us both. He is my constant companion, and I will do anything to get him back to his happy, playful self. He deserves a life free of pain and full of love As a student, I am shouldering this cost alone after flying him here from India. My family is not supportive, and I am currently searching for a second job to cover his care. Any donation will go directly toward his dental procedure and help save his life. Thank you

Babs came into my world before my grandmother passed away. I brought her so I could have an animal to comfort me during those hard time. She has been with me and my Quaker parrot named "Macho" for the past 8 years. She originally came from a family of two miniature pincher sisters and her birth mother. She likes to sleep under the warm blankets at night and my toddler and her just LOVE each other so much. He loves to walk her everywhere on the leash even at home. Due to COVID times, she is a best friend to my toddler since we are so home bound. He loves to pet her, brush her, give her a biscuit and even have her in his crib for play time. I am a single mom who lost her career job while I was 2 months pregnant. After my son was born, a few months later COVID 19 pandemic started and since I have not been able to work. Babs is the world to my year old son who knows her by the name of "Woof Woof". Babs has horrible teeth and needs a teeth cleaning and several teeth extractions surgery. Therefore, she needs to have day hospitalization and medication for 28 days. She would be treated by Dr. Anderson from Companion Animal Hospital. Her blood work has came back cleared to have this surgery and cleaning done and has to be scheduled within the next 3 weeks. She likes to bark at every postal workers. Those minds of those miniature pinchers are they bark like big dogs but scared like a mouse. She is very protective of all of our family members. Every bug outside she thinks is friendly and OK to eat. She has her own way of being special in my home. She is my 3rd miniature pincher that I have owned or my family has owned in my life time.
