Mia

Mia is a 5 year old Shih Tzu in Albany, NY, who needs $2,000 for Enucleation -Removal of the Eye.

Albany, NY

Mia is a 5-year-old Shih Tzu who has been with me and my daughter since she was a puppy. She is sweet, gentle, and deeply loved. We call her our "Baby Cow" due to the color and pattern of her fur. As a single mother, I provide her with a safe, caring home. Mia means the world to us, and we are doing everything we can to get her the urgent medical care she needs. Mia’s eye was severely injured in a quick incident with a housemate — it may have been a bite or rough play due to her small size. Her eye came out of the socket, and vision is compromised. The vet advised immediate eye removal. She was seen at Animal Eye Guys in Fort Lauderdale, FL. who are great and gave me a discount, but even with that at this time it is not doable. I am concerned for Mia. Mia is a super playful, sweet Shih Tzu who loves cuddling and following us everywhere. Mia loves to play with anybody and everybody, especially fury friends. She brings joy and comfort to me and my daughter. Her loving, happy, and energetic personality makes her truly special and a beloved part of our family. We especially enjoy when she chases her tail in circles which seems to be her thing. As a single mother, I’m facing financial hardship and cannot afford Mia’s urgent surgery on my own. Having her healthy and pain-free again would mean everything to us — she is family, and seeing her playful and happy would bring us true relief and joy.

Liebe

Liebe is a 6 month old Mix-Breed in Hollywood, FL, who needs $2,000 for Orthopedic Surgery.

Hollywood, FL

I adopted Liebe from the County shelter on 09/23/2024. The moment he rubbed his head on my leg when I walked in I was ecstatic to spoil him back home. He is the sweetest little boy and full of love which is why I named him Liebe (lee-buh) that means 'love' in German. He is super attached to me, following me all over my apartment walking between my legs or sitting on my work desk while I work. I am reaching out with a heavy heart and hopeful spirit. My beloved cat, Liebe, injured both his legs and requires orthopedic surgery. The cost of surgery is significant and despite our best efforts, we find ourselves in need of help. Thanks to Cooper City Animal Clinic, I am having the procedure done there as they were the cheapest in my area and work with Waggle. Liebe is not just a pet, he's family. With his playful spirit and affectionate nature, he's always ready to cuddle. We want to give him the chance to run, play, and enjoy life to the fullest again. He the silliest boy when he gets his zoomies and makes the cutest faces when I watch him. He is full of life and it brings so much joy knowing he is happy. I will not give up on Liebe. Money is tight right now and I can't afford this bill. No matter how small the donation, it will bring Liebe closer to the life he deserves. It will mean everything to have him back, I can't imagine life without him.
