My beautiful calico queen Whiskers came into my life 11 years ago. She was a wild kitten in need of a loving safe space to become the magnificent cat she is. From climbing walls and tearing through the house to patrolling for mice and baking biscuits she's been exactly what my heart needed. Whiskers is so brave and full of life she never goes a day without rolling in the sunshine. Whiskers in going in for an emergency visit after signs of lethargy, loss of appetite and pale gums. As of right now we will be doing a basic exam, blood work and likely xrays to rule out any heart issues, intestinal obstructions or internal injury. Whiskers absolutely loves patrolling her territory, she will perch on the roof outside of my window for hours sometimes. Watching the neighbors and birds. Surveying her small kingdom and all that goes on within it. Spoiled as could be she sprints at the sound of a can opener for her share of the tuna water. She's the prettiest biscuit maker in the west. My income covers the basics and staples of our household ever so tightly. With uncertainty the need for multiple test/exams is a scary thought. Whiskera has been my constant love for 11 years. In the past I've been lucky enough to cover costs but right I'm unable to.

Mojo came into my life when he was 8-10 months old. I was told he was physically abused. He was so skinny it appeared as tho his spine could be used as a handle to lift him like luggage. I've never seen anything so maddening. How does this happen...i still get a sick feeling in my gut when I talk about the physical state this little firecracker was in when he came into my life...14 years ago. Mojo tells me when it's bed time, and when it's time to get up. He sleeps next to my head, we share a pillow. He has always chosen men over women as his favorite people, I can't let it hurt my little feeler...I'll always be mama, even if my ex is still his favorite person! Grandma is his go to for daily cuddles and ear scratches, and hides between her feet when it's medicine or bath time❤️ Mojo loves being my rode trip co-pilot...long or short, every ride in my truck is his favorite. He loves to show his amazing surefooted moves and whip quick turns that keep his imaginary flock of sheep or stray cow in line! As tough as his 150lb attitude is, this 15lb drover is the sweetest most loving friend I've ever had. My Boy, my partner, my best friend, my Mojo 💕 My Mojo is in urgent need of dental work. I can see a bump under his eye, I'm afraid it is an abscess, I can't be sure. I have been trying to stay ahead of the dental problem with antibiotics but I'm afraid we may be losing this battle and we need help. I was told he had a ' leaky heart ' and it was dangerous for him to put under for this kind of thing so extra testing would increase the cost I came to Oregon a little over a year ago to be with my mom, she is 80 she was no longer able to live alone due to decline in health. I never guessed I would still be unemployed and now become a burden on my mom's fixed income, and worse, unable to care for Mojos needs
