My son and I rescued Sophie from ACC in October 2019 after loosing our Zeus to a prostate cancer tumor that was inoperable. It was a hard choice, but we needed her to heal our hearts. We had Zeus for 9 years and he was a very mellow lazy old guy, so getting Sophie was a breath of spunky fresh air. Sophie was a scared pup. She wanted to only stay in her crate (I'm assuming that's were the people before me kept her) after about 2 months she was more comfortable and began to stay out more often and then took over half my bed at night:-) She has had a good life since coming home with us. My son loves her very much and so is spoiled rotten. I think we all know that 2020 has been a trying year for everyone. I am in the process of moving into another home (that will provide more room for Sophie to run and play) as of right now all my resources are exhausted. I'd be willing to do community service to give back Sophie got into some papayas in the yard. She was sick for a couple of days and then we noticed that she really wasn't eating anymore. We took her to a local clinic and they did X-RAYS and no blockage showed. We took her back this morning because she hadn't improved. Now they say she has a blockage and needs to have surgery to get the blockage removed. Sophie is a wild child to say the least. She loves to be outside and sunbathe. She loves to go for walk and be nosy and sniff everything!! She plays well with kids and is always ready to run in the grass. She does NOT like baths or the pool. She loves to snuggle on rainy days... but beware she SNORES!!

His name is Cateo and he came into my life unexpectedly. Since he entered my life he has been my best friend, my family, my companion, my love. I care for Cateo so much. He is currently away from me at the hospital. I miss him so much. The doctor said he needs surgery for urethra obstruction. I am asking all who can help to please help me save his life. In the house Cateo brings light to our home. With him not being home it just does not feel the same way. I feel something is missing. He is missing and it really breaks my heart. I am trying to help as much as I can. All his toy, his food, and his favorite spot in the house feels empty without him. I really want to save his life please help me. Due to Covid-19 I currently do not have work and I'm living off of savings. I am the only one taking care of everything. Cateo has been at the vet since Monday and the bill is already past 3000.00 and the doctor is saying he needs surgery which will cost 6000.00 dollars. Cateo has not ever had any issues before and I woke up on Monday and notice he had a hard time peeing. From there he started vomiting having diarrhea he stop eating drinking and he became so weak he started shaking. It was a really tough sight to see with your own eyes. he started crying from the pain he was feeling. When I tried to rub his back he cried so loud he never did that before. Cateo is more than just a cat, he is my family. I love him so much words cant describe. He is loving, caring and fun. He loves to play with his brother (my son) they are partners. We have a great way to communicate. He understands me so well and I understand him also. Whenever he sees us he lights up filled with joy. I want to save my cat please help me.
