Bagel
Bagel is a 2 Year Old Australian Shepherd in Coral Springs, FL, Who Needs $2,000 for Pelvic Fracture Repair.
Coral Springs, FL
Bagel is a rescue who came into my life in February 2024 unexpectedly. He's been by my side through a toxic and emotionally abusive relationship that we made it out of together and it has taken a lot of training to get Bagel back to a point where he can trust people and not be scared of the world around him. He's a sweet boy who's just now finding out the world is a not-so-scary place for a pup. Bagel requires surgery for a pelvic fracture at Coral Springs Animal Hospital. After getting too excited when seeing potential canine friends, Bagel jumped out of the car window while the vehicle was moving and ended up spraining his foot and fracturing his pelvis. The fracture currently causes a lot of pain when he walks and can cause future leg complications if no procedure is done. Bagel is a resilient, sweet, anxious boy who has been learning to trust the world again after being a stray for the first 7 months of his life, to being adopted by an emotionally and physically abusive owner, to becoming my best friend. He loves his pet parent, grandparents, and his four-legged aunts and uncles who have taught him what it means to be loved and spoiled. Bagel and I left Missouri and came back down to Florida in October, and plan to move to Arizona in early January for a new job. Due to the financial restraints of back-to-back moves, this surgery would make us choose between his health and a healthy environment.

Cuddles
Cuddles is a 6 year old Siamese in Delray Beach, FL, who needs $2,000 for Nephrectomy.
Delray Beach, FL
I rescued cuddles and his brother Tinkerbell 3 and 1/2 years when I lived in Washington state. We now live in a condo here in Delray Beach and they have a happy, good quality of life but cuddles needs to have an important operation so we're fundraising. Thank you! Cuddles has been living with a diagnosis of GI small cell lymphoma and a tumor on one of his kidneys since March of 2024. He's being treated by Dr. Alvarez at Coral springs animal hospital. He's on several traditional chinchers and alternative treatments and mushroom powder, as well as Western chemo drugs and very specific diet as well as a fresh ceramic water fountain and the whole place is cats. Cuddles in Tinkerbell are my first pets I've ever intentionally lived with since I'm a child having grown up in a dysfunctional violent house where children and animals were not spared so it took me till that age to be able to bring them into my life and take care of something besides myself. That's not meant to sound selfish. It's just meant to say I knew myself and now they've helped transform m I'm on a fixed income of SSDI. I am a disabled Union stagehand out of Seattle. Having been the survivor of three shoulder surgeries and a lot of musculoskeletal problem along with PTSD/exiety, it's very expensive to live here and we humbly and kindly ask for any donations.

Cuddles and his brother Tinkerbell are the loves of my life. I adopted them on October 20th of 2021. While I was still living in the small town of belfair Washington. I adopted them soon after my partner and I separated and she moved to California. These are the first pets I've had as an adult as the house I grew up in was rather toxic and violent. These two are my lifeline to the planet. Thank u Cuddles has been living with GI small cell lymphoma as well as a malignancy on one of his kidneys since his diagnosis in March of 2024. He's being treated with several medications under the care of Dr. Francisco Alvarez of Coral springs animal hospital in Coral springs, Florida. + homeopathically with six different tincture, low dose naltrexone and lots of love, pets, and home cookin'. Cuddles is my special guy as is his brother Tinkerbell. It's just the three of us. I live in a community that is not particularly kind, friendly, loving, nor neighborly so it's really just the three of us. He's sweet and gentle. He's kind. He's living with PTSD and anxiety, based on his behavior, as I am myself living with those same issues. He is a love light and he shines bright. Thank you. I am legally a disabled worker. I was a union stagehand for almost 18 years in Seattle. We're getting by on $1,200 a month. SSDI plus part-time driving work I do for the transit agency here. We live each day as best we can as we are all day to day guys. We humbly thank you.

Sloaney
Sloaney is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Coral Springs, FL, who needs $2,000 for Endoscopy.
Coral Springs, FL
Sloaney was found in a storm in Ocala with her baby brother when she was just a few weeks old. We found her on Facebook and took in both her and her brother, who now live with their big brother Bandit. Sloaney is currently at Coral Springs Animal Hospital being treated for something irritating her gastrointestinal system. She has had multiple xrays and ultrasounds, which show some sort of content sitting in her stomach potentially causing the issue. She needs an endoscopy done to see what exactly it is and have it removed/biopsied. Sloaney is the sweetest little girl in the world. She loves to nap and snuggle in to watch TV (her fav show is super kitties) or run around and play with her brothers. Her absolute favorite toy in the world is a feather stick and she would play with it forever if she could. Unfortunately all of our extra funds have been used to help pay for this vet trip. Both her mommies are doing everything we can to keep her safe and get her healthy again.

Harley
Harley is a 4-year-old Greyhound in Greenacres, FL, who needs $2,000 for Lobectomy.
Greenacres, FL
Harley was a racetrack greyhound for the first few years of her life. During the start of the covid pandemic, most tracks in our area closed down and many dogs were displaced. My wife and I went to a local rescue to try and help a dog in need. We brought our infant with us. As soon as Harley saw us, she walked passed me, passed my wife, and started to lick our infants toes - causing him to giggle. Today, Harley has become an incredible member of the household. She has been with us 2 years now. She wants to be near us all the time, she is quiet and well mannered, and while our little dogs (Italian Greyhounds) try to harass her, she is always gentle. She watches over our son and is very aware that my wife is soon to have our second baby. Harley is a beautiful animal. Her personality is soothing and her face is sweet and gentle. Whenever new people come into her life, she nuzzles them and treats them kindly. She is a hungry girl! She eats more than ten dogs. But mostly, she likes to sleep. Her running days are long behind her and she wants to lounge. Harley was recently diagnosed with a malignant lung tumor. She is only 4 years old. Right now, she is asymptomatic and the doctor believes we have caught the tumor early enough for surgery to save her life. She will need extensive, invasive lung surgery. The hospital is Coral Springs Animal Hospital. I am a simple high school teacher, and my wife is about to be on unpaid maternity leave. We have four dogs and by next week, two babies. Harley's surgery will cost upwards of $10,000.

Katifano
Katifano is a 11-year-old Domestic Short Haired Tabby in Coral Springs , FL, who needs $1,050 for Flea Dip & Prevention I Assume.
Coral Springs, FL
In all honesty, this is my fiancé’s one of three cats. We’ve been together a year as of October 18TH. I’ve never been a cat person as I’m allergic but I’ve become very fond of all three. Actually I feel you build an immunity after a while. Well Katifano is who this is for so enough about me. He doesn’t like people from what I was told in the beginning and yet came right up to me. So Kati is now dealing with a major infestation of fleas. In fact all three cats have them. Per my fiancé’s information, they need a flea dip or other things that are very expensive. Honestly I don’t know if the amount I put is correct. I brushed him with a flea brush just now and there’s groups of them moving. It’s horrible. From a person who never was fond of cats to someone who cares very deeply about their health and happiness. I’ll do whatever it takes to help him and the others. I came across this site. Please help me help her. I love these cats. I know from what she has told me and from what I’ve seen that he has a problem pooping for some reason. When he does, he runs from it. Very odd but she says if that means he got it out, then it’s good. Again, another procedure of some kind to help him poop easier but I don’t know how much it is when she says expensive. My fiancé has a 5 year old son who is somewhat rough at times with the cats and they get scared of him. Kati especially seems to always be looking for me and when he jumps on me, his eyes look all seductive and weird while he’s purring lol. My fiancé says that means he loves me. I just know that he’s a great cat and since the Covid, we lost our care credit and can’t get him help.

Khloe Jean
Khloe Jean is a 2-year-old Chocolate Labrador in Fort Lauderdale, FL, who needs $913 for Blood Transfusion.
Fort Lauderdale, FL
My wife, Earleen, myself and our big girl Penelope had a hole in our hearts after several failed pregnancies and IVF treatments. I got Khloe for my wife just over 2yrs ago. She is a bundle of energy, always greets strangers as best friends. Her "big sister" Penelope loves her and is her favorite playmate. We have a house in south florida with a big yard for them to run and play. Khloe and my wife are inseparable. She sleeps on the floor right next to my wife, Earleen. When she feels scared she sits in-between Earleens feet for a little added "mamma" security. She is a very talkative little girl and always lets us know when she wants something. Placing her head on our laps when it's time to go out, jumping when it's time to play and grunting when it's time to eat. This expense which on the low side will be $4,340 and $6,170 on the high side is a very unexpected expense. She is a very important part of our family unit. We can't lose the youngest member of our family like this. Not without a fight. Khloe was outside today for about 20 minutes and collapsed. She was brought to the vet hospital where she was diagnosed with heat stroke. She is currently undergoing the first 24hrs of treatment and received her first blood transfusion this afternoon. The doctors have prepared us for the worst but said the first 24hrs of treatment are the most crucial. Her best friend in the world is her big sister Penelope. They chance each other all the time. They both love frisbies and chasing after balls. Khloe's favorite toy though, is her duck; a plush toy with a squeaker. I always know when Khloe has her duck when I'm on the phone with my wife. Khloe is always anxious to learn new things and find different ways of getting rewards.

Kovu
Kovu is a 6-year-old Labrador Retriever in Coconut Creek, FL, who needs $2,084 for TPLO Surgery.
Coconut Creek, FL
Kovu has been my best friend for almost 7 years now! He was a gift to me when I was in college and has been around for every heartbreak, move, promotion, loss of a family member or friend, you name it. We live with Nala, his other best friend in South FL! Both of their names are from the Lion King, one of my favorite movies growing up. Kovu loves being outside and playing, especially the water. Kovu is what I call a shadow, he follows me EVERYWHERE. He loves going to bed because he has his whole own side of the king mattress. He loves boating and going to the beach but is not a fan of actually swimming (he's lazy). One of his favorite ways to get your attention is a swat, he'll swat you to rub his belly, he'll swat food off the counter, he'll even swat Nala to come lay with him! I am single, 26 years old, and currently trying to financially recover after COVID. I have burnt through majority of my savings trying to figure out from 3 vets what was wrong with Kovu, after being told it was just a sprain for months. Kovu recently tore his ACL, we aren't sure how but it is a complete tear. He has been limping on it causing muscle atrophy and because he is so excited and full of life it isn't healing on it's own. Dr. Rawson, at Coral Springs Animal Hospital, says he needs a TPLO Surgery on his left leg in order to regain function. She says he will be back to normal and won't be in pain after 8 weeks. Kovu isn't just obsessed with food, he's obsessed with carbs. All my friends and family know that if he's coming over the bread, chips, and tortillas need to go away. Kovu can literally find the smallest crumb of bread stuck under anything, which helps keep my floors looking decent! This bread obsession is not helping his new diet.

Lemon
Lemon is a 1-year-old German Shepherd in Fort Lauderdale, FL, who needs $2,000 for cancer treatment.
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL
Poor Lemon and her family got hit with a one-two punch. First, Lemon's human mom, Jana V., lost her job due to the pandemic. Then she learned Lemon, who is only a year old, has cancer. "Lemon was diagnosed with malignant melanoma when a biopsy was sent out for a tumor that the vets thought was a simple skin tag," Jana tells Waggle. There is a treatment for this kind of cancer, but it's a cost Jana can't afford without a paycheck. Lemon's cancer team at Coral Springs Animal Hospital started her on a regimen of melanoma vaccinations. Then in six weeks, her veterinarian will run blood tests, take X-rays, and aspirate the site again to see if the cancer is still there. Jana appreciates all the assistance she can get to help Lemon with her unexpected diagnosis. "Her life expectancy was cut by years, and I would be forever grateful for more time with my beautiful pup," she says. Lemon's family is hopeful the treatment will work, and she will be back to being her ole self. "She spends most of her time with me but is equally happy when my boyfriend comes home from work and loves on her. We thought she might be too big for the bed, but she makes herself fit JUST FINE. She was the perfect fit for our family, and I truly believe she mends us all together." Jana adds. The beautiful white dog means so much to Jana and her family. "I've had little Lemon since she was three months old, my cousin's German Shepard had puppies and offered me one," Jana says. "She is my only animal not rescued, but I like to think she rescued us. She loves all humans and animals she comes in contact with."
