Maggie May
Maggie May is a 7 year old Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois) in Panama City, FL, who needs $1,680 for Surgical Removal of Grossly Enlarged Pancreas.
Panama City, FL
Maggie May is my heart. I fell in love with her soulful eyes while looking at photos of senior dogs on a local rescue site. I knew we were meant to be and Maggie was mine from the moment we met at the shelter. After adopting her that day, she came home with me and it felt as though she had always lived here. She's my one and only, so the thought of possibly losing her is killing me. Maggie is normally playful and silly. However, lately she has been lethargic and off her game, and has put on some weight. A visit to her vet, Dr. Hubbard at Critter Care, showed that, rather than just gaining weight, Mags actually has a grossly enlarged pancreas and is in need of surgery very soon. Yet my girl has been so strong, not exhibiting any sign of the pain she must be in. Maggie has the cutest personality! She greets me at the door with a full-body tail wag and a wrinkled-nose grin. She's very verbal and sassy... such a southern belle! Her toys are lined up neatly in her "fort" (under the dining table) and her Thunder Shirt is always ready for the slightest rain. She's a fraidy cat and big snuggler. Affectionate and loving, playful and funny, that's my sweet Mags! I am disabled and live on an extremely limited income. As such, paying for Maggie's surgery is out of my reach. However, I cannot imagine my home without my funny, sassy, happy girl in it. It would mean the world to me to have my girl happy and healthy again.

Row
Row is a 3 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Panama city, FL, who needs $500 for Parvo.
Panama city, FL
This dog was basically given to me due to his last owners losing their house. When I first got him he was underweight but I got him healthy and happy pretty quick however recently he has gotten where he won't eat, he won't drink, he just lied around. He has no energy and doesn't want to play I don't know what's wrong with him but I can't afford to take him to the vet. I have No money whatsoever. I'm afraid I'm going to lose him however if I don't get into a vet quick. I can't get him to drink or anything He has already had a hard life with his previous family as was evicted out of their house they lived in their vehicle and Row did as well until he was given to me. I want him to experience a life a dog should experience not a life full of chaos, sickness, and heartbreak Due to being out of work currently because I am the caregiver of a disabled senior in a wheelchair 24/7. This is a 24/7 job, however, I don't get paid because this is a family member. I have a huge heart but no money to support it

Baby
Baby is a 10-year-old Pit Bull in Panama City, FL, who needs $1,503 for Removed Mass/Tumor.
Panama City, FL
Baby came into our lives 10years ago when my young 14 yr old daughter thought it would be better for Baby to come home with my daughter because they were giving the puppies away to people that fight Pit Bulls for money. Baby has been a great dog for my family and we have had a good experience with her breed despite what others say about her breed. No one in this area will even care for a Pit Bull Baby has been a great dog for my family. The only other problem Baby has had where the doctors say Baby has had several littles and she has never been around a male dog but was having false pregnancies and had to have surgery less than two yrs ago at the same Vets office. That surgery was over $800 My dog’s favorite friends are stray cats that everyone drops off on this dead end road and for some reason Baby loves sharing her food Baby loves cheese and she will give you her paws, turn around in a circle, and lay down for cheese. Baby will also stand on her back feet and walk for cheese my son taught her how to do those tricks This was not an easy situation for Baby as you can see in the picture the size of the tumor that was removed off her stomach/nipple. That tumor bursted open when Baby was rolling around in the ground outside when I say that it was bleeding but I did not see that there was a hole in her stomach is when I put her in the car and headed to the vets office Unfortunately my job has cut our hours to 18 hours a week, they call it the slow season and I can’t even feed myself sometimes. I’m seeking other employment because I just signed an invoice today for my dog that I stressed out signing

Jax
Jax is a 13.5-year-old Mixed in Panama City, FL, who needs $600 for Advanced Liver disease and Cushing's disease treatments.
Panama City, FL
As many of our friends and family know, we do not have human children. Jax is our "child".I was with a relative one day, going to see the puppies her friends dog had. Had not planned on getting one...just love to see cute puppies. They were only one day old. The moment I saw him I just fell in love.We took him home (when he was old enough) and He has been our boy every since. Almost 14 years. Jax is a silly fun loving pup. He loves attention and back rubs from all he meets. Watch out though because he is quick with the tounge and loves to give out kisses. Our family treats him like a family member not just a pet because he is so special to us. He has two cousin pups Berkley and Kuro he enjoys spending time with. He has a wild kitty brother he likes to play and cuddle with. During the pandemic while schools were closed we had only one income. During this time Jax became sick. He has already had about $3000 in surgery, test and medications just since July.He still has more blood test needed and medications are at close to $400 a month right now Jax has been under the care of Dr. Powell at Critter Care in Panama City, F. He wasn't feeling well so we spent weeks doing test and trying different treatments. Ultimately he had to have his spleen removed and had a liver biopsy. At which time we found he had advanced liver disease. He still wasn't feeling better so more test revealed Cushing's disease that he just started treatment for. Jax is such a ham. He loves chasing balls at the park, car rides, and walks on the beach. If you aren't giving him the attention he thinks he should have, he is sure to let you know with a little grumble telling you come on it's time to play. At bed time he is so funny. He will give you a look, grumble and Nod when he is ready. And he means business and won't budge till we head to bed.
