Powder came into out lives on a cold February day about 2 years ago. I heard a meow outside and thought it was my other cat, so I opened the door and in ran a skinny all white cat. She had fleas, cuts and you could see her ribs. She ate 4 cans of food. I took her to the vet and we got her all taken care of and she healed and gained weight. She loves to sneak outside, snuggle and she LOVES food. Powder sleeps with us. Her favorite person in our family is her dad. Our daughter Winnie loves her so much and stares at her and talks to her. Powder is very gentle with Winnie and lets her pet her. Powder is very friendly and snuggly. During my pregnancy she would lay on me and purr anytime I was sitting down. As I mentioned she is a sneaky little thing ans will snatch off of hour plate if you aren’t careful! Powder became ill around Christmas with an Upper Respiratory infection. However the vet thinks there is another underlying condition because she is not responding to antibiotics. I currently have to feed her with a syringe and she has lost over a 1lb. She has tested negative for feline aids and leukemia. She goes to Devonshire Veterinary Clinic and her doctor is Dr. Smiley. I am on a fixed income due to a new baby (7 months old) & my husband is a disabled veteran. Powder does not deserve to be euthanized because she is a sweet loving girl who is only 2 years old.
