Buster
Buster is a 12 year old Chihuahua in Elkhart, IN, who needs $2,000 for Rhinoscopy.
Elkhart, IN
I had been looking for puppy for a while. Buster came into my life at a time when I really needed him. A friend of mine asked me to come by his house, that he had something to show me. When I got there Buster was who he wanted to show me, my friend said that if I wanted him that I could have him, but he came from an abusive home. So building trust took some time with the little guy. Buster has thankfully been pretty healthy all of his life. But his situation now, I honestly don't know what is wrong with him, it sounds as though something is lodged in his nasal passage. I do work full-time. But my fiance Tim, and I have had some financial difficulties as Tim was diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer earlier this year after having a brain tumor removed. Buster is special because he, just like our cat Fiona is like one of our kids. I have had Buster since he was a puppy, and although some could argue he is old maybe it's just his time, have never seen Buster run and play just like when he was a pup. Like I stated before with my fiance unable to work, and only my income, it's hard. I make just enough so I make too much for any other kind of assistance but I don't make enough to save for an emergency like this

Sheriff
Sheriff is a 3 year old Labrador Retriever in Elkhart, IN, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.
Elkhart, IN
Sheriff & I have been together his whole life. From the moment I picked him up, he knew he’d go home with me out of all the other puppies in the litter. We live on 2 acres with lots of space to roam. According to the vet, he may have an obstruction somewhere. Currently, I don’t have the funds for an emergency surgery which was what was recommended & I’d rather not put him down just yet. The vet is Dr. Weldy’s & Associates. Sheriff is special because he allows our autistic 4 year old to get out energy outside while also not escaping. Sheriff is normally very high energy & ready to play with anyone. Sheriff needs surgery to survive, he has lost 20lbs putting him severely at risk. Our current financials with a autistic child, toddler, and another baby on the way don’t allow for the estimated $1,500 to $3,000 that it would cost to have surgery.
