Beauty has been a cat that I've had for only about 2 years but before she came into my life she belonged to my daughter my daughter was not able to take her when she moved so I adopted her when I adopted her I did not know that she was pregnant she became a fun loving mother of four kittens One kitten however still remains with her and he is now about to be a year old. Beauty is a fun loving a mama cat she rules the roost,she's the queen bee of the house, she loves to cuddle she takes care of other kittens, she's a good mom. She still has her son who also lives with us and he's about to be a year old and she still takes care of him anytime she hears a kitten meow she goes running to try to find it. Beauty is the type of cat who knows when you're sad and tries to cuddle with you she tries to make you feel better she's a fun loving member of our family she kind of got the characteristics of a female Garfield cat her favorite pastime is chasing toys and playing with the laser she loves to eat sleep and cuddle. Unexpectedly one day I see that she wasn't feeling so well I also seen that she was leaving behind little spots I thought maybe she was pregnant in the spots were just coming from her woman areas come to find out she's diagnosed with pyometra. Which is an uterus disease.. she has been on antibiotics but is in need of surgery the surgery will ultimately be her cure without it she will die. What they diagnosed her with is a rare condition that older female cats can end up with. I was unaware that the procedure would cost so much. After losing my job after I caught covid I now only work part-time and I'm unable to afford the whole cost of the surgery.

Hi! I am a happy, fur mom of three cats. The oldest cat - Beauty is 8 years old, a calico, and recently developed a uterine disease Pyometra. Unfortunately, she has to have her uterus removed during a high risk spay surgery. It has become an emergency and needs it as soon as possible. I had recently adopted her a year ago from a family member, and has been the perfect addition to the family since. She is a fun-loving, happy mama who accepts and plays with every creature she meets! Her favorite activities are eating and playing with her three cat siblings. We call Beauty mama because she's the QUEEN. She rules the roost with her protective energy and has been nicknamed the female Garfield! I don't know what we would do without her. Not only has the news of Beauty's uterus infection been heartbreaking, but it has also taken a financial toll. The veterinary hospital gave us an estimate of anywhere from $500 to $2,000. We have paid for the initial vet check and the initial fee to undergo the surgery. Beauty is not just a cat, but a very loved member of our family. This is our precious mini Shar-pie mix Roxy. She was confiscated from a place in Florida. We adopted her and they sent her to us in Pa. There was not much info on her but she looked fairly healthy. We have 2 other shar-pie rescues and are familiar with the breed and their health issues. We did notice her teeth were bad and she was slow to eat, also we could see that her eyelashes were rolling in. Roxy is a sweet little girl that likes to stay to herself. She gets along well with the other dogs and they all go on walks together. We have a fenced in yard and a doggie door so she can go out when she wants to. She loves to sit on my garden wall and soak up the sun. She loves to be outside all day and is always on the watch for cats and the local ground hog. For some reason she is afraid of squeaker toys, so we had to find some other items for playtime. She is the only one that is a face licker!! I can tell when she want attention because she has crazy eyes and wiggles when I let her lick. She like to sleep on the couch but I got her a super soft donut bed and she loves it. She is a precious, quiet little girl that rarely barks. We were told she needs entropion surgery. We have tried different things to help with her teeth and gums but since her dental condition was bad before we got her, it will requires professional dental work. Our veterinarian will try to do both surgeries at the same time if she can handle the anesthesia. She is about 7 yrs. old and is considered a senior dog. We are retired now and on a fixed income and surgery costs have tripled. I think these 2 conditions are causing her pain and difficulty seeing and eating. These things are just as important to a dog as they are to us! I want her to be healthy, happy and playful as she can.
