Foxy came into my life as a rescue three years ago. Her foster mother thought that she and I would be a wonderful match and we’ve been together ever since. She is a fun loving, playful pooch who hops like a bunny rabbit whenever she gets excited. In my old age, she is a great comfort to me. We live on a fixed income but we have created a house of love for ourselves. Foxy has a brother dog who is also a rescue; they are never apart. They love their daily walks, napping together and playing in their fenced in backyard. Each has their own soft bed and Foxy loves her plush toys. Foxy loves to meet and greet new people. She is kind soul, who loves to romp with all dogs in neighborhood. In fact most of the neighborhood dogs end up in our yard. I love our Sunday morning cuddles on the couch. Foxy loves her weekend car rides to the grocery store, riding with the windows down. She very protective of her dog brother, Buddy. Thick coated, Foxy loves cooler weather and will find the shadiest spot in the warmest months. She loves her doggy ice cream after a hard day of patrolling the yard for rabbits and squirrels. Foxy has been a healthy dog during the our time together. We always have kept current with the required vaccinations, and the flea and heart preventative medications. Recently she developed bad breath and I made arrangements for her to be seen at East Coast Vets LLC in Easton, MD. The diagnosis determined that she in her advanced age she needed four teeth pulled. Antibiotics where prescribed. I am a elderly woman who lives alone but for her two dogs and a rescue cat. I live on a fixed income, and I am disabled. My pets are my heart and soul, they keep looking forward to another day. They keep me active. My mothering instinct stays strong.
