I adopted Prince from a local shelter! It was love at first sight. I got him when he was about 6 months. He is a year and a half. I am about to go away to school and be will be my roommate. He's the most adorable baby I've ever seen and my love for him is indescribable. He has brought so much happiness to my life. Prince was running down the stairs and slid on the wood floors hitting himself against our table. He layed still for a bit then let out a cry once he couldn't get up. We took him to the vet and after getting Xrays they told us he broke his hip. He needs FHO surgery asap. Prince is my son. He eats, sleeps and keeps me company throughout my day. He's playful and gets along with the family dog, Thor. They're like 2 peas in a pod! I'm sure Thor misses playing with him since Prince has to be isolated in my room so he doesn't further injure himself. My heart hurts for him and I don't like seeing him immobile. 💔 I am a student with a part time job and my parents are on a fixed income. I used all of my savings to pay for his recent pet bill. The estimate for his surgery is $2600-$3000 and I don't know how I'm gonna pay this. We need your help!

My father passed away in September of 2022, while I was away, My son adopted Loki from a friend who was unable to bring him to their new apt complex. It took me two days to realize Loki was even there. Initially I was upset. I didn’t want the responsibility, plus I’ve never owned a cat, but before I knew it. I fell in love with this lil guy and I’m a proud pet grand mother 😊 A couple days ago (May 21, 2024) he wasn’t him usual self, I took him to 3 Vets. He was diagnosed at Eastex Veterinary clinic with a urinary blockage, which I was told can be fatal in a few more days. He hasn’t urinated or eaten in 2 days so far. I was given a high end bill for $1700 and a low end bill for a lil over $1200. I could do neither. I paid $388 for pain & antibiotic meds to subside. Loki is the best thing to have happened in our family in a long time. My son suffers from mental health issues, which is why I didn’t put up a fight once Loki was in our home. He has comforted my son in so many ways I never could imagine the difference a small black cat could make in his behavior. They’re honestly very co dependent on one another. Loki follows him around like a shadow everywhere. I’m currently unemployed and have been making ends meet by selling items on social media and Poshmark. Unfortunately it’s a bit tight for everyone these days, to lose Loki would devastate our household and set my son back into a deep depression. Please consider us. Blessings
