When we first got our French Bulldog, Lyla, she was just a tiny bundle of energy and sweetness. Out of the whole litter, she was the smallest — the little runt who instantly melted our hearts. Despite her petite size, she had a big personality right from the start. Our kids fell in love with her immediately and chose the name Lyla — it suited her perfectly. We brought Lyla home as a happy, loving puppy, but around the age of two she be suffering from ear infections. Despite ongoing care since she was a puppy at Saxony Animal Clinic, her conditions have worsened. She now has a mass in her ear canal that need to be surgically removed. She is under the care @ Pearl Surgical Center and will need surgery to help improve her quality of life. Lyla is full of life and has a personality all her own. She recently became best friends with our cat, Luna- hesitant at first, but now inseparable. She loves emptying her toy bin to find the perfect bone to chew on and can never get enough love or attention from anyone around her. She's full of joy and still has so much life to live. Lylas ongoing health issues have already been a significant financial strain on our family. We have done everything we can to manage her care, but now that this surgery is needed the cost is more than we are able to afford on our own.

Meet Maki! Maki was the first cat that I'd adopted following the passing of my longtime cat, Mina. She's quickly bonded to me and become my little shadow. I adopted her when she was just 6 months old (she'll be 2 years old this year) and I love her to pieces. She lives with my parents and I, as well as her adopted siblings; my dog, Milo, and two other cats, Marvel and Maggie. Maki has luxating patellas in both of her hind legs. In other words, the kneecaps in both of her back legs, which are supposed to sit within a little groove, have slipped out of place or become dislocated. There are four grades of patellar luxation, 1-4, with 4 being the most severe. Maki, unfortunately, fits the criteria for grade 3. She's currently being treated at Ebensburg Animal Hospital. My baby is genuinely the sweetest little girl. She loves treats, she loves to play (esp with toys that she can catch or bat around), she loves to tease the dog, and she follows me just about everywhere that she can. And although she doesn't enjoy pets as much as the other cats do, parallel play is one of her greatest love languages. She just wants to hang out and soak in all the love she can. Unfortunately with not expecting her situation to be as bad as it wound up being, financially this is something that I'm really struggling with. I love her so, so much and just want to be able to give her the care and the life that she needs. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had shadow since she has been 2 months old. We lived in Jersey in a apartment building and then moved to Pennsylvania. So we could have a yard for her to play in and just lay in the yard. A couple of months later we got another dog so they would grow up together and protect each other. They are inseparable. I take one to the vet the other one cry til I bring the other dog home. So I'm looking for help so I can get surgery done for her. She has a torn ACL and it is very expensive and I have tried everything to raise money and get help but it's like no one wants to help at all when it comes to pets. I'm in really desperate help to get her to surgery because she is worse everyday being the pain she is in and I don't want her living on pain medication for the rest of her lif She is very talkative. She loves the mailman that come to my house everyday. She doesn't like thunderstorms and when it thundering outside she has to cuddle up next to you and fall asleep on you. When you go in the snow she has to be right with you and watching every thing you are doing. She enjoys jumping in the car with me and going for rides. I'm on a fixed income. I don't make enough money at all. I up and left my house in Jersey after I got divorced from my abusive ex husband and I had to start all over. I would really appreciate help from anyone that could help us out. Cuz I would be lost with out my pup.
