Finland is everything we could have dreamed of and more in a cat. In 2024, I wanted to surprise my then girlfriend (now wife!) with something super special for valentines day. Into our lives came Fin! From day one we brought him home he's always been the most cuddly and affectionate boy. Fin has always been there for us and we want to do whatever it takes to keep him healthy. After dinner one night, we noticed Finny wasn't as cuddly as he usually is. He seemed uncomfortable, we got concerned and thankfully made the right choice to rush him to Falls Road Animal Hospital where he was diagnosed with urinary blockage. He needed emergency surgery, which is going to cost anywhere from $3700-$5000. We had to agree to immediately get it done. Finland has forever changed our lives in more ways than we can count. He was my wife's first pet and my first cat, but to us he means so much more than what being a pet is. Part of our discussion before agreeing to adopt him was understanding that this was no small decision. It was our first big decision our relationship. When we think about our future together, we always see Fin there. We are two graduate students making ends meet on our school stipend. We are sorry to have to ask for help, but unfortunately this treatment is not cheap. We appreciate anything anyone can do to help us help our boy.
