Clint

Clint is a 3 year old American Wirehair in Pageland, SC, who needs $2,000 for Hernia Surgery.

Pageland, SC

Clint was found one night in a curve not far from our home. He and his two brothers and his sister were just set out in the cold dark night. Luckily they were found and brought home with my family. Three years later Clint is in need of me to save his life once again, and I will do everything I can to do so! Clint is a complete inside kitty. He doesn't go outside, pretty sure he might never try again! But last Wednesday night someone decided they wanted to pull a secret agent move and get out of the house. Apparently my door wasn't shut as well as I thought it was, and he escaped during the night. He was attacked by a coyote and has to have surgery for a hernia caused by a puncture wound on the inside Clint is the most vocal kitty I have ever had. He likes to climb and scream 'hello' at you when he sees you! He enjoys his catnip treats and cuddling in the bed with me! He also loves to smack his toys around the room. I would give anything to see my happy baby come back to me. I have a full-time steady job, and I'm normally excellent at saving for things. However, this wasn't something that I was planning for, so I don't have the extra money set aside for it. My sweet baby just wants to feel better.

Daisy

Daisy is a 10 Year Old Mix-Breed in Winnsboro, SC, Who Needs $300 for Flea Treatment.

Winnsboro, SC

Daisy came into my life as a gift to my daughter. But I grew WAY more attracted to her than my daughter did. When I was diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer a little over a year & a half ago & this cat helped me trew it all! She sleeps beside me every night she follows me to eat breakfast she sits with me to watch TV & she follows me to bed. THIS.CAT.IS.EVERYTHING to me I almost lost her once already when she was a little over a year old she had to undergo emergency surgery to remove her lady parts or she was gonna die! In the middle of dealing with my cancer she's fell ill again (I believe it's fleas). She sleeps with me every single night. She follows me everywhere. She waits at the front door for me to get home. She eats with me. She follows me to the bathroom. She follows me to bed. She's the absolute best cat and she's my best frien. I was diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer and I am unable to work. The small income i do receive goes to bills and house hold things and stuff my kids need.

Coal

Coal is a 13-year-old Pomeranian in Lancaster, SC, who needs $850 for Heartworm Treatment.

Lancaster, SC

Coal was a rescue when he was 3. I’ve had him for 9 years he’s helped me and my family through a lot. With his current heart worm condition I just don’t want his end of life journey to be hard on him. He has always been in good health and I’m sure with treatment he for sure has some good years left in him. It’s really disrupting his life with all the coughing when he really gets moving. Coal has been with us for 9 years both my sons 20 and 15 have been raised with him. We have 4 female dogs but he’s a lot older so he doesn’t play with them and he’s neutered so there is that. He’s just a sweet boy and loves anyone he meets. He very docile and gently and has always been a loyal companion. Before his coughing bouts got so bad he loved running in circles and at night playing on the bed and rubbing his head around. When he’s with you he loves to bark at you to get attention. He’s just a relaxed dog and makes people feel comfortable. He loves people but just ignores most other dogs but he loves to sit and watch a good tv show. I’m looking to cure his heart worms it’s gotten to the point he coughs almost anytime he moves he’s just very uncomfortable. He has been neutered at a young age and has been relatively healthy. He does have some joint issues especially with his back left leg which he hobbled around on. I just wanna get him treated so he can live well again. My wife works and I’m on SSI disability we take care of them all but this has became an emergency we also recently had to take one of our other dogs as she was very sick with an illness so between being a 4 family house it’s just been hard to get him any help.

JJ

JJ is a kitten in Lancaster, SC, who needs $1,000 for pinpointing cause of extreme digestive issues.

Lancaster, SC • Lancaster SPCA

JJ was found by one of LSPCA's Board Members. We reported him as found to the county shelter and fostered him for the required 5-day stray hold. At first JJ had a great appetite and seemed healthy. He quickly developed stomach/digestive problems. JJ stands for Jackson, Jr. because just six months prior, the same Board member found an adult orange kitty with severe stomach issues, named Jackson. When he feels well, JJ is a superior biscuit-maker. He kneads everything and is a super-loving boy. It was easy to tell when he stopped feeling good because his loveable personality was gone. After determining that he did not have any communicable disease, he was paired with a playful kitten in hopes that would help his spirit. LSPCA has had an extraordinarily expensive year, specifically with extreme medical cases for the dogs and cats in our care. We are 100% volunteers and rely 100% on donations. Any help is appreciated. JJ is being treated by the local veterinarian. After determining that JJ's issue were not caused by worms or coccidia, they started a series of tests to determine why he is not thriving. they x-rayed his tummy to rule out a blockage. They did a barium series to track things moving through his digestive system. Most recently, they conducted a bile acid test, and we are awaiting results. JJ loves to be loved on! he wants all the petting, kissing, and chin-scratching. His first priority is affection, while his foster buddy's first priority was playing. Although JJ was much smaller than his foster buddy, he would sometimes have to stand up for himself when his friend got too rambunctious.
