Hi, I’m Koda’s mom Becca. Koda is a 2 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is rambunctious, loves to play the ‘Keep Away’ game and loves his 2+ hour long walks in the early morning hours such as 4am. He has been the light of my life since he was 9 weeks old and I would give him the world. Koda is such a friendly and loving pup that thinks it’s a criminal offense to not give him pets. Koda currently needs a CT scan as he is slowly loosing function in his back legs. Without this scan we cannot know for certain what is causing this or how to help him heal. Without this scan Koda could loose his ability to walk properly, becoming permanently paralyzed in his hind legs. While I’ll admit I’ve cursed his long 4am walks, I wouldn’t trade those moments for anything. I doubt he’d let it stand in his way but I want him to be able to play and run and walk without hindrance as his energy is such an integral part of him. A CT scan is such an expensive but important procedure, especially when it comes to spinal issues and risks of paralysis. As a server I simply do not have the means to handle this on my own and must lean on the generosity of my community.

Anubis came into my life at my lowest point, I was freshly Medically discharged after 5 years in the military. My best friend had some puppies and reached out to me when he was just 12 weeks old. I didn't hesitate. He has been with me so far for 7 amazing years. I just got him a companion last year and they absolutely love each other. He finally just got a yard he can play in! About a month ago, Anubis started randomly screaming in pain. I rushed home and took him to a Fetch Emergency clinic to get X rays. They gave me a treatment plan that I followed and said they believed he had IVDD ( They can't give me an answer without an MRI). He was taking Methocarbamol, Gabapentin, as well as Prednisone. 2 Nights ago He started screaming again. He needs an MRI,I need him better. Anubis is special for the same reason anyone's child is special. He has always been my reason to keep pushing. He is amazing with kids, other dogs and cats ( His partner Freyja especially). He is truly the most gentle feeder ( He uses his two front teeth to lightly grab them when offered) He is gentle with my Quadriplegic Older brother, and he is the first to cuddle on a bad day. He is so happy. I need help paying for an MRI. All of the vets i spoke with have stated that its around $5,000 because of size and Anesthesia Required. I maxed out my care credit for his Xrays and paid another 1500 out of pocket. I need him better. I cannot imagine my life without him.

I’ve always wanted a lil kitty for as long as I can remember. October 2022 I finally found the one who stole my heart and ever since then we been living our best life together. My baby was recently diagnosed with a urinary blockage. He has loss appetite, lethargic. Surgery needs to be done as soon as possible. Due to financial reasons and loss of my job recently I’m not able to take care of his medical training plan. Milo is the owner of the house nobody comes in or out without greeting or petting him. If you have a feather or a bell he automatically becomes your best friend. He likes nose kissed,heads butting and love to cuddle. I recently lost my job and right now I am struggling because I don’t want to lose my baby. Milo has help me emotionally through some difficult times in my life. His been my support best friend.
