Mickey
Mickey is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Clayton , DE, who needs $2,000 for Diagnosis and Treatment.
Clayton, DE
My cats name is Mickey who is a one year old male mix-breed. I received him and his brother from a Facebook ad. The family wanted to rehome them due to their children not changing the litter beings they were the children’s pets. I’ve had them both since 4 months old and have never had any issues. Mickey is an indoor outdoor cat. Loves to be outside but is currently inside now. When I receive help of any type I will be taking Mickey to Forrest Avenue animal Services. He unfortunately has never been to a vet due to insufficient funds. Mickey currently has had severe issues including loss of appetite, (but staying hydrated)weight loss, non active, only urines, does not groom his self, bad breath, weak, (he’s so weak he stumbles) and has ulcers in his mouth. My pet Mickey is very special to me. He is a kinda of a loner and stays to his self but is extremely loving and affectionate. He gets along wonderfully with other animals. Right now Mickey sleeps beside me in my bed with my boyfriend and I beings how down he is. Mickey usually sleeps on the couch in our bedroom. I am unemployed, seeking employment, but do odd and end jobs to help with necessary bills (I.E. Electric bill, mortgage, etc). I feel My pet has already suffered enough days in pain. He needs urgent help. It would make our world for assistance in keeping a friendship alive

Morris
Morris is a 1-year-old DSH Cat in Hartly, DE, who needs $1,000 for Abscess Debridement and Neutering.
Hartly, DE
I first saw him at my work on 6/28/22 but I didn't have a way to bring him home. I didn't see him on 6/29/22 but luckily I was able get him on 6/30/22. I didn't have the cat carrier with me so I got 2 milk crates that are seen in the pics and put on top of the other and duct taped the handles. I wasn't leaving him this time because he has a large, abscess on his cheek. I found out that Morris is unfortunately FIV+. Which means he will live strictly indoors. He will live with 2 cat friendly dogs and will be the only cat in the home unless I get another FIV+ kitty. During the healing process and while on quarantine for rabies, he will have the large master bath set up as a his hospital room. I can't answer this just yet but I can say he came to me in a special way. Unfortunately people dump animals at the animal shelter up the road and they end up at my work instead. I'm assuming he was dumped since he's very friendly and definitely not feral. He and let me pet him and pick him up without any problems. I imagine he's going to show me how special he is once he feels better. He is at Forrest Avenue Animal Hospital and is being treated by Dr. Gaines for a large, severely infected abscess on his cheek. He's going to have blood work done, be tested for FIV and FeLV, fecal exam, urinalysis, and get started on pain meds, antibiotics, and any others he may need. He's going to have to go under anesthesia and have it debrided as well. I'm have financial need because I just spent $1200 on my dog 2 weeks ago because she injured her tail and needed it amputated. I also had to replace the well pump at my house which cost me $2300. My car broke down too and will cost me between $500-$1000 in repairs.
