My parents adopted Sylvester back in 2012. He was a very shy little guy at first, but once he got comfortable with us, he became the sweetest boy and eventually the biggest cuddle bug. Sylvester has been a part of my life for 13 years and I believe he is my soul cat. He has been there for me in the darkest of times and truly I feel I was meant to be his cat-mom. Right now, Sylvester is getting emergency care at the Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists center, where he will be given fluids, the nutrients he needs, and possibly a blood transfusion. We're still unsure of what is causing his sudden loss of hunger, anemia, and fatigue, but we know he needs to get these fluids and nutrients to get him back to his old stinky self. Sylvester's very sweet and outgoing for the most part (he's always the favorite patient at the vets) but has his own little quirks. He is a treat-fiend and goes crazy for a Churu or a temptation. He is a big purr-er and big on cuddles, making him the best companion for those nights in under the blankets. His favorite spot on the bed is wherever the heating pad is or right up next to you. This illness came on very suddenly and with how expensive the costs of keeping him in the hospital are, it's just something that I cannot afford all at once. To have Sylvester back to his old, stinky man ways is all that I want. He is my everything at this point and

And the previous owner did to her and I wanted to give her a better life I only make enough to pay our bills and feed the whole family but I dont make enough to be able to take her to the hospital for treatment or anything and it hurts just seeing her like this

Hi friends! Meet Sage. She's my guardian and the sweetest pup you could ever meet. She's a 10-year-old pit x boxer that doesn't seem to know what double digits are for her age. She runs and plays with her DaneX sister and jumps to lick me on the forehead when I come home. Sage ate a large amount of gravel that caused instructions in her stomach and small intestines which required major surgery to remove. She has been hospitalized at Four Seasons to try to get her stabilized and her pain controlled. We received notice that she requires further hospitalization due to inflammation and pain. I cannot have children, so our dogs are our children and I am worried sick about Sage. Her sister misses her so much. She is still at a point where she could make a full recovery but just needs more time. We had to put our other dog to sleep almost 1 year ago this month and my heart is still broken with her loss. I can't lose another pup this Christmas. She has insurance, but they limited her payout to 50% and added a max payout of $7,500/yr. We have maxed CareCredit & we have maxed out all credit cards that we can. We also had to take her sister in for x-rays as she ate the gravel too which was $526. She will be ok.

I adopted Athena 6 years ago. She had been in a shelter and was so stressed the shelter had her sedated. The person who adopted her could not keep her and did not want her back at the shelter. I have had her ever since. Athena has EPI which as been well managed for the past 6 years. She recently started vomiting foam then started refusing food. She will only eat boiled chicken in the evening and is very lethargic and losing weight. The did X-rays bloodwork and an ultrasound and could not find anything wrong aside from elevated liver numbers. She recently developed trouble swallowing and the video shows her Athena is the smartest, sweetest, most loyal and polite friend anyone could ask for. She is always thrilled to see us and likes hugs from us so much that she has to spin afterwards. She loves snow, long walks and opening all our packages. She never touches them unless we tell her she can open them! She needs an endoscopy next and after the few thousand I have spent I can’t afford it. I was denied care credit and have most items I own up for sale trying to gather what I can but it may not be enough or in time.

Rocky lives with me, his Dad and his 2 younger human brothers. We live in our Colorado home and have also had the opportunity to live overseas. We always travel as a family unit and do everything together. Rocky unfortunately was experiencing internal bleeding and had to undergo emergency surgery. He needed his spleen removed due to the growths that were found and one of them were bleeding. Luckily, we were able to make it to the hospital in time and the doctors performed life saving treatment. Rocky is now experiencing difficulties with his heart that require further monitoring and hospitalization. Rocky is such a sweetheart. He is a 9yo German Shepherd fur baby with 2 younger human brothers! Rock sauce loves everyone he meets and loves going for rides, playing with friends and all of his toys. He touches the hearts of everyone he meets and is a true joy to be around Rocky had a second chance at life but that did not come without pressing costs. In order to save his life, we exhausted our entire savings and paychecks. We could not live with ourselves if we had to put our sweet boy down due to not being able to afford it.
