Shadow
Shadow is a 8 year old German Shepherd Dog in Waynesboro, PA, who needs $1,450 for Tumor Removal.
Waynesboro, PA
We have had Shadow since she was 8 weeks old. She is an important part of the family. Our granddaughters always play with Shadow. She got her name because she follows my husband around the house and yard. When feeling down, Shadow will come comfort you, usually with a ball in her mouth. She loves chasing her balls and tire. We have used Franklin Veterinary Associates for over 15 years. They found Shadow's thyroid issue. Now Shadow takes a thyroid pill everyday. We recently noticed a lump on her breast. Our vet recommends surgery to remove and biopsy it. At they same time, she will spay Shadow. Her prognosis is very good. Shadow follows my husband around everywhere. She also plays with the family constantly. Our son and his family live with us. His daughters play and pet both Nikita and Shadow. Shadow lets them lay on her. Our youngest granddaughter will lay on her and read her a book. She sleeps in bed with my husband and I, using our legs as pillows. My husband and I are on a fixed income. It will mean the world to us if Shadow were without the lump and will be with us for still another few years. We are trying to put money aside, but with inflation, it is really hard to save money.

Nikita
Nikita is a 0 year old Siberian Husky in Waynesboro, PA, who needs $2,000 for Surgery for Tumor Removal and Spay.
Waynesboro, PA
Nikita is one of our special babies. My husband and I are on a fixed income. We have had her since she was 8 weeks old. Recently, we discovered a knot on her stomach. She is scheduled for surgery on October 3. Our granddaughters live with us and are very attached to her. Nikita loves talking to us. She is definitely an important part of our family. Please pray for us all. Our baby has a knot on her abdomen. It may be cancer or could be just fatty tissue. She is scheduled for surgery on October 3 to have it removed and biopsied. At the same time, they will spay her. Nikita is such a part of our family. Currently, we reside with our youngest son and his family. Our granddaughters (13 and 9) play with her and cuddle with her all the time. When we are under stress, she will lay with us and give us kisses. She loves everyone and is a part of our family. My husband and I are retired and our fur babies are very much an important part of our day. We are on a fixed income due to being retired. Both my husband and I suffer with autoimmune diseases. He has rheumatoid arthritis and copd; I suffer with lupus and many other diseases that lupus has brought on to me. Our dogs keep us calm and so our fur babies.
