I was driving down a road by my home and thought I saw a cat in the road as I slowed and swerved I realized it was a tiny dog I drove a bit and saw it just in middle of lane looking lost I knew it would get hit soon so I turned around and parked close she ran towards car but so scared and shaking I coaxed her in a a blanket i keep in car and took her home.. she was dirty and hungry As Stated above I just found her in road she is very old her eyes are cloudy white But her TEETH. that seems to be the worst I tried to look and 2 small teeth were dangling and fell out her breath is atrocious im sure there is infection I didnt want to turn her in to shelter as they surely woukd euthanize her. due to age and teeth condition I woukd like to use Fremont animal hospital in Mi since "ROSIE" came in our life we realize she has so much life left in her. we have 3 other elderly dogs we have adopted over the years and Rosie fits right in. she has adjusted and the other dogs have adapted, pmy husband has dementia and Rosie has given him a spark in his life so there must be a reason she crossed my path that day. She is tiny in size But big in heart I am on fixed income, I have 4 other elderly petsI I do the best by them and Rosie deserves the same I just cant afford what dental care would cost. As old as Rosie looks I believe with her dental situation fixed she can live out her life nicely and she deserves it.

Stiletto

Stiletto is a 11 month old German Shepherd Dog in Muskegon, MI, who needs $2,000 for Femoral Head Osteotomy Laser Surgery.

Muskegon, MI

Letto came into my life when he was a 5 month old pup weighing only 20 lbs. He was a rescue, and required a ton of initial treatment when he was presented to the vet for the first time. Now he is 11 months old 80 lbs on the dot and thriving. He does have a best friend that is a third of his height and a quarter of his weight. Nacho (chiweenie) is his best bud! Together always. Since this beautiful baby was brought into my life he has always walked a bit different. At around 8 months he started throwing himself down instead of sitting or laying. Referred to a specialist and on two pain meds, we got our answer. Bilateral hip dysplasia and coxofemoral joint incongruity, subluxation. We were given two options to save his legs before arthritis occurs creating more pain. Letto is one of a kind. Initially I took him in to get him well and find a forever home. He won me over because the way he looks at me, like he is just in love. In the beginning he followed me around even when I took a shower, stuck to my side. Now that he is getting older he loves sunbathing and using his doggy pool with his best friend. He is such a big talker, and always has something to say. I’m a single mom of twin boys just trying to make it on a very fixed income. As I mentioned before, when letto came to me he was in severe medical need. Unfortunately I spent nearly all of my savings on everything needed to get him well.
