Winnie
Winnie is a 5 year old Pug in Tacoma, WA, who needs $4,800 for FHO (femoral head ostectomy) & Patella Repair.
Tacoma, WA
Winnie was rescued from a kill shelter in Las Vegas and brought to rescue in Washington. She is a Frenchie/Pug mix and about 5 years old. She was adopted in May of 2026 and has brought joy to all those around her. Winnie struggles with walking and cannot jump. After adoption she received x-rays. We found out she was likely hit by a car in her past and her right hip is damaged. She needs surgery to repair it, she is in constant pain. The x-ray also revealed she has a luxating patella on her left knee which causes her knee to not work properly. She has fused disks in her back and is losing her eyesight Winnie loves people and her tennis balls. Her favorite are the squeaky ones. She charges like a baby hippo with her hard head if she wants something. She tries to protect us by biting the leg of intruders but doesn't have the teeth to be effective. She gets picked up many times each day to be included everywhere and loves snuggles. Her smile lights up the room and she has the sweetest soul. Winnie has had a hard life, filled with pain and for her to be able to jump up or climb a ramp without falling would change her life. She has her forever home and needs help getting her the multiple surgeries. Her being able to go on a walk and chase balls would change her.

Birdie
Birdie is a 1 year old Portuguese Water Dog in Elk ridge , UT, who needs $2,000 for Acetubular Fracture Surgery.
Elk ridge, UT
My dog, Birdie, is a 1-year-old Portuguese Water Dog who lives with me full-time in a stable home environment. She is an indoor dog and a deeply loved member of our household. I am her primary and sole caregiver and am responsible for all of her daily and medical care. On 12/15/25, Birdie was struck by a vehicle, resulting in a severe hip injury. She has been examined by a veterinarian and requires orthopedic surgery to restore mobility and prevent ongoing pain and long-term complications. She is currently resting at the veterinary hospital and receiving pain management while awaiting surgery. Birdie is energetic, expressive, and full of personality. She is known for “talking” to us every morning and often has full-on conversations, complete with vocal opinions. She will even go “tell on” someone in the house when she thinks rules have been broken, which never fails to make us laugh. She is my 8-year-old’s best friend and constant companion. This injury and required surgery were completely unexpected. I am a single parent and small business owner, and I am currently managing regular household expenses while keeping my business running. I do not have the ability to absorb a sudden medical cost of this size.

Milo
Milo is a 1 year old Poodle in Tooele, UT, who needs $2,000 for Luxating Patella.
Tooele, UT
I rescued milo, I was in a dark place in life when I came across his little face and immediately knew that he would become my best friend. He has been by my side whenever I’ve gone through some hard times. When we had to put our other dog down he stayed by my side and didn’t leave Milo need patella luxation, it’s like when a person tears their ACL. This surgery will help him gain mobility again, as of right now he is unable to run or play with me or with his doggy friend. He absolutely loves our little Frenchie, he constantly goes around the house searching for him. Whenever I get home from school or work he stays by my side. If you ever get sick, he will never ever leave your side. I’m a full time student and a part time worker, my parents have their own financial situations. I’ve tried to save up the money to help him but I’ve had crazy health problems come up that the money has to go into it.

Hershey Hersh Man Gates
Hershey Hersh Man Gates is a 1 year old Labrador Retriever in Tooele, UT, who needs $2,000 for Hip Replacement Surgery.
Tooele, UT
We got our boy in early November of 2023. He owed on my husband on the 5 minute drive home and we decided to call him Hershey. He had the cutest little belly and was sleeping in the grass with his sister. We went through the cute phase, the piranha dog phase and the good boy phase. He is just the sweetest boy and had so much life. We have 2 other dogs and they are literally my kids and our family Around 7 months old I noticed he was still bunny hoping up the stairs and had a hard time getting up. I have watched him become less active over time. I took him to the family vet where he was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia and needs full hip replacements. Granite Veterinary Specialist in Cottonwood UT will be doing his surgeries as soon as I can raise the funds. He does have an account there He is just one of those dogs that gives so much love to everyone. He’s like the glue. He’s not any one persons dog and has such a gentle soul. He LOVES playing with the ball but over the last few weeks he doesn’t even do that. I am currently the only one working with a family of 3 and 3 dogs. I keep them licensed and up to date on all their vaccines. To have him healthy again would make such a difference. I want my spunky boy back and this is the only possible way.

Olive
Olive is a 9 year old Dachshund in Heber City , UT, who needs $2,000 for Life Saving Gallbladder Removal Surgery.
Heber City, UT
“My name is Olive, and I was a rescue after my previous owner passed away from Covid. I am now a trained service dog for my mom, who has Mast Cells Activation Syndrome. She can go into anaphylactic shock without warning, and I have already saved my mom’s life twice, by bringing her her epi pens. I am her official cheerleader at the gym, watching her work hard to rebuild and heal her body.” The duct between Olive’s liver and gallbladder is partially blocked, making her high risk to have a fatal obstruction. Olive needs to have her gallbladder removed immediately, and her surgery is scheduled for later this week. It is inevitable that the duct will become obstructed if left untreated. Her vet is confident that she will thrive after this surgery and has many more years to love and live Olive loves to play fetch with her favorite squeaky toys and burrow under the covers to cuddle. She trots around the neighborhood with her 3” legs on her daily walks, which helps her mom get outside for fresh air and exercise. Olive brings pure love and joy to the people she interacts with on a daily basis, while supporting mom with her ongoing recovery. This is a vet bill that far surpasses Olive’s emergency savings fund. Olive is a healthy dog and her speciality vet is confident she will thrive after this life saving surgery. We ask for, and appreciate, any contribution for Miss Olive.
