Kallie
Kallie is a 10 year old Boxer in New London , CT, who needs $2,000 for Mass Excision Level 3.
New London, CT
Kallie is a 10 year old all white beautiful boxer. She lives with me, my boyfriend, and 4 month old son. She has a big backyard she loves to play around in. But due to her being in so much pain she hasn’t been able to enjoy it. Groton Ledyard Veterinary has looked at Kallie’s ear that was once just a tiny pimple and has grown into a very much large mass tumor. They want to remove it as soon as possible before it affects her in the long run. It is causing her a lot of pain, bleeding excessively. Doctors said once it is removed the cancer should not come back due to the cancer being around her ear flap. Kallie is special to us she’s amazing, wonderful, absolutely loyal. She is a one of a kind first dog. I have recently had my first child in November, she absolutely adores him. Loves him so much and is a protector towards him. She means the world to all of us. She loves my whole family and has been around in our life’s for 4-5 years now. I am on maternity leave and my maternity leave doesn’t pay enough to pay for my dog surgery plus my child’s needs. Having our dog healthy again would mean the return of companionship, joy, and a sense of normalcy.

Fluffy
Fluffy is a 9 month old Chihuahua in Groton, CT, who needs $2,000 for Artificial Hip Surgery.
Groton, CT
Fluffy lives in a townhouse style apartment. He is an indoor puppy. We have stairs with a rubbery covering to prevent slipping. I brought my nephews dog, his mother to my home so she could have the puppies here, so he's been with us since May 27, 2024. Mid January Fluffy developed a limp on his back right leg out of nowhere. After no improvement I took him to the vet. He had his first set of xrays and they weren't positive what was going on. They. Had me return 4 weeks later. The vet said he needs an artificial hip. This seems to be genetic. The vet assured me his other side looks fine and this doesn't seem to be cancerous. Fluffy is the absolute perfect emotional support animal. He is very calm and more of a "lap dog." He is my support animal. I was in a bad accident and also had other SA and DV situations. He definitely keeps my mind off of things. If I start to worry, he notices and lays on my lap. Most recently, he started doing well in the car, so he helps me not get anxious in the car. I am a single mother with inconsistent child support. I have been on disability since 2012 due to mulitple back surgeries, and I still need more. Fluffy's surgery is very expensive and unexpected. I have paid over 1500 so far on 2 sets of xrays and medicine.

Cali
Cali is a 9 year old Siberian Husky in North Stonington, CT, who needs $2,000 for Surgery to Remove Mast Cell Tumor (Large Margins).
North Stonington, CT
Cali lives in North Stonington, CT. I adopted Cali over 9 years ago. She is a huge part of our family. We have 4 dogs(including Cali), and a cat. They are a pack and they love each other so much. When Cali goes to the vet, the other animals cry the whole time, and they get so excited when she returns. Cali also has me, her mom, and two human siblings. Cali had a bump form about a year ago. I brought her to a vet and they mis-diagnosed the bump as a cyst. About a month ago, she started vomiting often, having diarrhea, not eating or drinking, and acting lethargic and sick. I brought her to a different vet, Groton/Ledyard Veterinary Hospital, who diagnosed her with a cancerous mass cell tumor. She needs surgery from a specialist to survive. Cali is a love bug, loves to snuggle, and be with her mom all the time. When I am in the kitchen cooking, she is always right under my legs "helping" me. She pulverizes most toys that are brought home. When the toy says "indestructible", she takes about 5 minutes to destroy it. She is very unique and special to us, and has such a sweet personality, with her pet and human siblings. I am a single mom of 2 children and 5 animals, and a math teacher. When all the animals were adopted, the household had much more money, but unfortunately, circumstances changed. Our income took a huge hit, and I have been trying very hard to keep it all afloat.
