Help Marley get amputation — Newcastle, OK

Newcastle, OK

Marley is the most happiest, go lucky dog you’ll ever meet! She’s super snuggly and loves belly scratches! marley makes our family complete! We got her for free from an elderly man who couldn’t take care of her. Marley unfortunately got ran over by a car and broke her scapula. The bone has completely detached from her spine and she is either needing surgery or to get her arm amputated. Halo in newcastle, oklahoma is giving her care! Marley is such a personable dog and is loved so much by each family member and even our other dogs. We truly believe marley is one in a million and can’t be replaced. without the treatment we would have to put her down due to how much pain she’d be in and our family would be absolutely devastated if we lost our fuzzy friend! my dad recently fell off of a ladder and also has to have surgery and he just changed jobs. marley’s amputation is too much for my family right now. anything helps

Spencer and Blue’s Road Back to Comfort

Oklahoma City, OK • Kanoa Rescue Foundation

Imagine knowing nothing but love, safety, and security your en tire life, only to have it suddenly taken away. This is what happened to Spencer and Blue when their owner was hospitalized and could no longer care for them. Sadly, based on the condition they were found in, it’s likely these little pups had been struggling for some time. When Kanoa Rescue stepped in, the reality of their health was heartbreaking. Spencer was suffering from two ruptured corneas and a mass behind one eye that pushed it out of its socket. There was no way to save either eye, and both had to be removed. Spencer is now blind and learning how to navigate the world in an entirely new way. On top of that, he had already lost half of his teeth, and the remaining ones had to be extracted due to severe dental disease. Blue’s condition is equally concerning. He has been rapidly losing weight and cannot keep food down, experiencing chronic vomiting and diarrhea. Initial imaging suggested a possible obstruction in his stomach, but an exploratory surgery revealed no foreign object. More testing is now needed to determine the cause of his ongoing GI distress and get him stable. The road ahead will not be easy, but we are committed to helping Spencer and Blue heal. With your support, we can provide the medical care they need and give them the chance at long, comfortable lives in a loving home!
