Theo

Theo is a 2-year-old Siamese/Mix in Hamilton, ON, who needs $699 for testing, diagnostics, and surgery.

Hamilton

I truly believe Theo was brought to me by the universe which is what I told everyone the minute I found him at my doorstep. It was 2am, usually by this point I’m fast asleep, but I decided to go sit outside. As I opened the door I seen these piercing blue eyes staring back at me. He was so desperate for food and shelter I knew i had to take this baby in. Theo and my other cat Aspen got along from the second Theo was brought into our lives, they are brothers. Aspen has taken over the “parental” role to Theo, always taking care of him. Theo loves to cuddle he will curl right up with you, doesn’t matter how seemingly uncomfortable it is he loves to be close and to give all the love he has. He is so unbelievably sweet, so precious he melts my heart. This bill was extremely costly and not affordable to me in the slightest. I’m due to move into a new place with my daughter in less than a week. I had to take out a $900 loan in order to get him the care he needs. Times are tough for us all right now. Theo fell ill. As cats do, he was able to hide it so well. It breaks my heart to know the last bit of strength my baby had, he would come to me for love and comfort. Theo had an obstruction to his intestines and needed emergency surgery from the Hamilton Regional Emergency Clinic. He needed life saving treatments from x-rays, IV’s, hospitalization, and pain medications. If you get real close to Theo, he will kneel his head down for you to kiss his forehead every single time. Theo is so sweet with my three year old daughter, he loved her right away. When most cats would be taken aback by kids, he was right curled up into her during her nap getting cuddles in, on his third day with us after we brought him in. I’ve never seen a cat be so tolerant and loving.

Sweetpea

Sweetpea is a 1-year-old Grey Tabby in Hamilton, ON, who needs $500 for dietary requirements.

Hamilton

I rescued her mother off the streets. She had been beaten and starved and was pregnant at the time. It took 5 weeks for her to come around and trust me and unfortunately died giving birth. I took sweetpea on as my own. She is less then a year old and unfortunately needs to see a vet she's very sick. I do not want to have to give her up. Sweetpea is the friendliest cat never hisses never claws. She always sleeps beside me and my fiance's head and loves her belly rubs. Sweetpea was born on family day. She loves everyone. She will sleep on your lap while watching tv. Friendliest cat I have ever met love her to death. She has to always sleep on the bed or she will be upset. I had lost my job when I had my son and my fiance was just let go due to covid and I would do absolutely anything to keep my baby girl healthy and safe and happy please help us give her the life she deserves. Unfortunately her condition is permeant her mother had it and it is passed on. She will need a special diet and medications to stay healthy and happy. Sweetpea seemed healthy when she was born always joyful and happy, but one day she started getting sick thought it was something she ate but I tried 20 different foods, nothing worked. Now we need to get her help. Her favorite toy is my hair elastics. And she loves belly rubs. My favorite thing about her is she always talks to you. I always have conversations with her. She always hops in the shower right after you have just gotten out its funny and leaves little paw prints all over the place. She will always sit like a human and it's weird but it makes my day. She always greets us at the door.

Rosie

Rosie is a 3-year-old Bull mastiff in HAMILTON, ON, who needs $2,200 for Ultra sound of the stomach, 3 day hospitalization

HAMILTON

Rosie came into my fiancé’s life when she was a 6 Month old puppy. After a little while with him, both him and Rosie, my daughter and I all decided to move in together. That’s when I fell in love with Rosie. The relationship she has with my fiancé is just like father and daughter. They have an incredible bond like nothing I’ve ever seen. Rosie is a very happy energetic 3 year old dog, who loves every one and all animals. I have a 5 year old daughter and Rosie thinks she’s one of the kids!! Sits with my daughter while she eats, plays with her constantly and when it comes time for snuggles with my daughter, Rosie is right there making sure she gets the same amount of love and attention. Right now finances are very tight as Rosie is staying in hospital with Iv fluids. I am also 7 months pregnant and the furthest thing from prepared with everything that’s already been going on. We would love nothing more to have her here for the arrival of our son ❤️ So basically right now what is happening with her is, we noticed her going off her regular kibble. We took her to the vet where she has been for the past 2 days. Tests are currently being done with her but are coming back negative. The vet is now suggesting it may be a tumor in the kidneys and needs to be seen by a specialist to have an ultra sound. As of now, she is still in the hospital. Rosie is just the most loveable friendly dog. Words and photos can’t describe how special she really is. She’s got the personality of a small child, loves to be played with and loved. Anyone who meets Rosie instantly falls in love with her silly personality. Sometimes she doesn’t realize her large size and tries to come right into your lap for some attention.
