Lulu

Lulu is a 1 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Colorado Springs, CO, who needs $5,000 for Torn Cranial Cruciate Ligament on Right Stifle.

Colorado Springs, CO

Lulu was given to me by a friend because she couldn't take all the puppies. She is possibly the sweetest puppy I have ever met. Never had a sweeter dog. Lulu is a jumper and somehow she did something to tear her acl. I noticed because she wasn't putting weight on her back leg. I took her to emergency vet and they stated that she has a torn cranial cruciate ligament tear on the right stifle which requires surgery and cost $5000. They said these injuries do not heal on there own and if not treated would spread to other leg because compensating. Lulu is very active, loves to run and jump and chase balls and squirrels. she loves tug a war and has become the family favorite. lo es long walks and cuddling on the couch. This is an unexpected, sudden major expense and we have no pet insurance. The surgery will cost up to $5000. We do not have that money for surgery and unfortunately doesn't heal on its own.

Hi! My name is Willow and I'm a 11 month old female puppy. I just went into my first heat and it's miserable!! I never want to go through that again nor do I want to have any unwanted puppies!! I'm trying to raise money so I can get spayed and make my life a bit easier!! Getting spayed is expensive though and my owner and I can't afford it!! I'm hoping that reaching out will help!! I'm trying to raise money so I can get spayed and make my life a bit easier!! Getting spayed is expensive though and my owner and I can't afford it!! I'm hoping that reaching out will help!! My owner and I definitely do not need any puppies! I love you run amuck and meet new animal so getting spayed will make things better in case some big dog did accidentally get a hold of me!! I can't work to get the money and my owner isn't working due to health reasons!! I would get a job in a heartbeat if I could... But seriously who would hire a dog!!

Willow

Willow is a 7 year old Shih Tzu in Pueblo, CO, who needs $1,000 for Pyrometria Closed Uterine Infection.

Pueblo, CO

Willow came into my life when I was not looking. She was part of a pair of sisters that I rescued from a neighbor when no one wanted them. She has been part of my family for 7 years. She is the sweetest little earth angel with the best disposition. September, I lost my husband to cancer whom we all loved so much, all of our hearts were broken and now I find myself needing help to save her. Currently I am trying to find a vet that will take her. Just recently she started showing a hernia that is bulging out and she won't move very much, I'm terrified she won't make it until I raise the money. I have called the vets in town and they say that won't take her in with ought a payment up front first. I do not have much after my husband died, I only have a just enough for bills and rent. Willow is an angel, she is intuitive, she knows when you need a little puppy hug or just a quiet companion. She loves her turtle Iggy, and watching dogs on TV. She truly is an earth angel that loves and remembers everyone. She's one of the biggest things to help me through my grief since my husband died in September. Without her, I know I wouldn't have made it through. I know that to get her seen the cost is $175 and then the tests can add up to about $3000 if it is her hernia that needs correcting. I fear the worst that I won't be able to save the money in time. I would be forever grateful for anyones help and would return the kindness!
